Nice picnic area on the river.A large paddle boat picked up people there. They did have bathrooms. Parking was $2 an hour. We enjoyed our lunch there.

Only downvote items IMO: 1. Watch for goose and dog poo. 2. Prepare to pay for parking (silver lining: can use drop box or pay by phone) and 3. Closes too early IMO and you will be asked to leave by LEO or community watch upon closure... BUT It's a very large, well manicured, well maintained, very clean, well patrolled, easily accessed park that's got all you need. I've never seen it packed to the point that it was challenging to navigate but it is the hot spot in town for basically any event, public or private. It's got the Pavillion, museum, beautiful statues, Sternwheeler (though I believe, sadly, 2022 was the last year for the Portland Spirit Sternwheeler), a lil gift shop/commissary/boarding shop at the Sternwheeler dock, boat ramp and marina, beach access you can swim at (very very rocky though), a campground that hosts RV's tents AND the PCT hikers (which I find particularly neat, as far as I know Cascade Locks is the only city located actually on the PCT, so you may see a wonderful variety of hikers from all over the world, they even have an annual event focused on rhe PCT hike!)... Their watered lawns keep the fields very soft and nice (but I repeat: watch for poo) and there's plenty to keep you engaged. Perfect for small get togethers up to big city funded functions. Plus I LOVE Thunder Island that you can cross the bridge to!

Stunningly gorgeous setting in the strikingly beautiful Columbia River Gorge!
Lovely clean well maintained park with green grass & shady trees right on the beautiful Columbia River! Sailboats, Kayaks, SUPs, Wind Surfers, fishing boats. Park has picnic tables, restrooms are clean & stocked, children's play equipment, beach. One block from main street in a cute town, Cascade Locks, with hip cafes & little stores. Free parking.

We only drove through the area, but it is beautiful. There are places to fish and picnic. Several parking lots and a museum are there and a steamboat if you want to get reservations.

Went to a wedding at this venue. Insanely beautiful. The ceremony was a walk away on Thunder Island. Easily the most beautiful wedding I've ever taken part in. Wonderful atmosphere.

Attended the PCT days event. Great event and location. Take note this is a pretty windy (strong wind) location.

We got married in the Pavilion in 2016 and it was amazing. Weather was perfect, and even if it would have rained that day the covered area at the Pavilion is so large that my entire wedding party could have fit underneath it if needed

This is a great little spot in the world. We were completely surprised when we stopped here. Our kids absolutely loved the playground which was steam boat themed and they loved when the train came whistling by. My wife and I enjoyed the spectacular views of the river and surrounding Gorge and we loved taking a little walk across the bridge and a walk on Thunder Island. There is free parking, restrooms, a brewing company nearby... honestly what more can a family ask for?!?

I apologize for the lateness of this review, but my group had a small convention here back in May of this year and it was fantastic. The facility was clean, bright and stylish...which was perfect for what we needed it for (our group was about 60+ people). We got to pick from several projectors and the clean up instructions were simple and easy to follow. Jeanetta was very helpful throughout the process of renting the facility. She answered many questions from us and really helped set us up for success. We are very grateful to her and the Port of Cascade Locks for making this facility available to us and will recommend it for our friends and families events in the future.

A great park right on the Columbia River. Has restrooms (peak season only), a playground with swings, lots of grass, geese and views! Museum on site as well. Gorgeous place for a picnic...keep your eyes on the south mountains for a bald eagle couple that often puts in an appearance.
