We worked with Celestina to buy a house in the very challenging summer 2023 market. And we ended up with a house that we love! When the owner of our rental house (that we’d been living in for 6 years) decided to sell, we were in a rush to buy our first home. Congratulations! You have just made the best possible decision by selecting Celestina Uriarte to be your realtor. We stumbled upon Tina by chance while driving around the residential areas of Oceanside, California. She was showing a townhome in the Oceana complex and we asked if we could see the unit. She graciously agreed and we were immediately impressed by her knowledge and professionalism. Although we did not like that particular unit, we asked her if she could show us some other properties in the near future. She assessed our needs and wants and had several properties available for viewing on her next visit to Oceanside.

Thereafter, she showed us a townhome that had just come on the market and with her guidance, we submitted an offer which was accepted subject to the usual loan inspection contingencies. She made a great recommendation to us for a property inspector and moved quickly as to all aspects of the transaction. Moreover, it was her extensive knowledge of the lending business that made this purchase possible. I had some late payments and a notice of default on my previous home due to a problem tenant who would not pay rent or vacate the property. No other realtor would have been as knowledgeable and persistent in contacting lenders who were were reluctant to loan us money due to the previous tenant problems. She never gave up on us and we were eventually able to use to secure the financing that we needed.

The next hurdle was the closing costs that I did not have the cash to pay. Tina made a great suggestion that we roll those costs into the purchase price and receive a credit for that amount in escrow from the sellers. Her constant attention to detail and working with the sellers’ agent allowed us the time and money we needed to make this whole purchase possible. She knew how to get certain extensions and help us negotiate with the sellers after minor problems were discovered on the property. Her competent representation allowed us to secure credits, plants and appliances that might otherwise not have been included in the deal.

Our dream came true when we were able to close escrow and move into our new home. We cannot thank Tina enough for all that she did for us and I know you will feel the same way after she helps you acquire the home of your dreams as well. This team were the realtors for the home I was trying to purchase. Communication has been scarce at best. And to top it off, they are trying to keep my EMD. I am going with one star because I dont know what advise is being given but when we first started working together, they were informed that I am a Servicemember stationed overseas, and was hoping to purchase a home for my family upon our return stateside. Due to repairs not being completed as agreed upon, we never removed contingencies and we came to the understanding that it was not the right fit for us. Yet for some reason, they are feeling entitled to our EMD, and refuse to either seek mediation or come to a compromise. I dont know if its because I was not there in person that they felt they could take advantage of me but the clients have moved on and sold the home to another party, yet my EMD is still being held hostage. Effectively putting my family in financial strain as we prepare to return home from an overseas tour.

I guess I would need to brush up on the California laws on defamation but my review of your business is purely based off my interactions with your business. No embellishments or half truths.
