Daiso

A treasure trove with a delightful touch of Japan and Asia. My visit was a charming experience, exploring a unique array of affordable and culturally diverse items. The store's appeal, enriched by its Japanese/Asian products, adds an extra layer to the enjoyable and budget-friendly shopping adventure.

Interesting little store. Lots of imported goods like stickers, craft items, snacks, house items, plushies, etc. Very easy to just drop $20.00 on snacks alone.

I love the variety of sodas, candies, and chips. My surprise find was that a childhood candy I loved had sodas. VERY HIGH IN SUGAR. But would probably taste amazing as a ice cream float or mixed with Soju.

If you have a pal who love Korean and Japanese goods, take them here or make them a nice gift basket. This store would be great for gifts!

They also had tons of money envelopes for Chinese New Years. Very pretty ones with all kinds of designs.

Staff are nice here too. Good service.

It’s a nice huge plaza and this store is very clean and almost have everything from storage to chips and to toys to thread for sewing. Anything you can think for home, kitchen, bathroom they have everything. They did went up in prices compare to before but I hope the quality of the product also went up.

It's always clean and the staff is extremely helpful. They have a variety of Japanese items, food and some perishables. The parking was a breeze and I would recommend checking them out.

I LOVE DAISO! Best "Dollar" Store ever! I get it, its like a buck seventy five, but still. Great selection of stuff you didn't even knew you needed. Very clean, well organized, staff is so nice!

So surprised to see a Daiso store in the US. BEEN to many in various cities in Japan. They are the equivalent of Dollar Stores or 99 cents stores in the US.
However that's where the similarities ended mostly.
Yes they have many cheap products made in China which is what comprised of most discount stores like these.
Look closer there are some made in Japan ones also, usually of higher qualities.
The store is brighter and more cheery and generally better looking clienteles.
Product mixes also geared more towards Asian goods--novelties, snacks, food, drinks, household goods etc etc.
Price structures are also different. Pay attention to what the Japanese Yens printed on the package and there's an equivalent chart to US Dollars hanging everywhere which range from $2 up to $15. So don't assume everything is $1.
And if it's not marked in Yens then just $1.50

Great, reasonably priced products from Japan. Good quality. Added 1 self checkout option, which helps when there's a line. Love the food products, especially the an pan (red azuki bean bun)! Lots of parking.

Lots of interesting things that you can find a use for. You can go up and down each row and enjoy looking at all the items.

I come to this store for two reasons: My girlfriend (she enjoys shopping here) and Ramune.

The employees here are friendly, and the line is never ridiculously long. The store is also clean, and quite affordable despite selling imported goods. Every time I see my total at the register I'm SHOCKED in a good way. I find that if I would spend $50 at a normal shop, I could spend only $35 at Daiso. Their Ramune selection is also sizeable for a Ramune enthusiast like myself, and the fridge always has some nice cold Ramune ready for me to buy and drink straight away. Yuzu and Strawberry Ramune can be hard to find, but it's always available here. I definitely recommend this place.

The far east on the West Coast! Wide selection of items across every need - and you always find something they have you didnt know you needed till you saw it

Not Japan prices but it'll do. Lots of cool stuff you really don't need. They have Pocari sweat now. 😑 Just as terrible as I remember it

What a fun shopping experience! All kinds of gadgets and organizing goods, as well as cleaning products, stationary and some food.
Well organized store, super low prices, friendly personnel.

I love it because you can find anything in there and it's really affordable. Plus they have yummy Asian candies and snacks.
