I am a former Dental Hygienist and was referred to Dr. Chu a few years ago by a hygienist who worked for him years ago, He and the staff are all excellent, caring and thorough. I love that he does not up-sell as do many offices. I send all of my Friends here.

Exceptional professionalism coupled with gracious courtesy. Extremely accurate diagnosis and complete cure by Dr. Chu. Hygienist Erin not only did a great job cleaning but she also asked about my brushing and flossing practices and made valuable suggestions for further improvement.

I went to Neil Chu August of last year for tooth pain. I had insurance and provided my insurance information for the consultation. He recommended tooth extraction and an implant. I decided to go for a second opinion and found a dentist who was able to save the tooth and put on a crown.

When I left the office they told me the consultation and x-ray were fully covered by my insurance. They did not submit the insurance claim until many months later at which point it was no longer covered. I received a bill for $41 nearly a year after my consultation and a letter notifying me I would be sent to collections if I did not pay.

I paid the invoice but I was unhappy with my overall experience which ranged from the initial consultation although way through dealing with their back-office.

They had many opportunities to handle this in a better way and unfortunately chose to take none of them which is why the 1 star review.
