Mike is definitely on his A-game when it comes to finding your perfect home :). My sister is a realtor licensed in Maryland so I couldn't use her so Mike was referred by a friend who just purchased his home in Mira Mesa. Just a few words to describe Mike as a person to try and make this brief: confident, knowledgeable, passionate, experienced, and well versed. I was impressed by him by our initial phone conversation because I could hear how passionate he is about his profession. I was even more impressed that he called my lender to introduce himself before meeting with me in person. You First fits perfectly with the way he puts your needs first... he was always available when we needed him and he made sure my partner and I were always on top of our game as well. Somehow our one and only offer (below asking) with Mike was accepted in this crazy real estate time. It took a lot of steps to get to closing but he walked us through each step which made everything a breeze. We closed while we were in Peru, which made things more complicated, but when we came back home from our vacation to a new home! Thank you a million times, Mike!! Can't wait to invite you to our house warming party :).

Selling a home can be daunting especially when it involves moving across the country with three young children (and one being a newborn). We had a lot to do within a certain time frame and the stress level was high. Thankfully we had Mike Iufer as our realtor and he was great at giving us very precise advice in the things we needed to get done in order to put our house on the market looking its best. I recently made my first home purchase with Mike Iufer, and when I started the process I didn't know much about buying property. Having grown up locally, and having bought and sold property here for himself, Mike is definitely an expert in San Diego real estate. He is well researched and able to get offers accepted by sellers even when inventory is scarce (my first offer was accepted!). He is available pretty much any time to answer questions and represent his clients. He is willing (and able) to field any and all questions, is knowledgeable, not pushy at all, and it's obvious his only goal is to make is client happy- even if that means they decide not to sell/make a purchase. I can't recommend Mike highly enough!

Mike is the best, he helped us through a 14 month process of buying our forever home in a very competitive area of San Diego. He was with us through every step and ultimately made sure that we paid a fair price for the property. I'd easily recommend Mike to anyone looking to purchase a home in San Diego or elsewhere.

Wow! Where can I start?

To be honest, I asked Mike to help me to represent me in buying a house based on our connection through a mutual friend rather than any specific knowledge of his experience or skills as a real estate agent -- but now that i've (successfully!) gone through the buying process, I can't imagine having done this without Mike as an agent by my side through every step of the way.

And even though Mike typically works as a listing agent, he was truly fantastic representing me on the buying side (perhaps by understanding how we could best work with the listing agent.)

I entered the market with lots of ideas of what i wanted, and Mike helped me hone in on what really work work for me. He walked through the steps in homebuying early on and with an incredible level of detail and inquiry about what i was looking for as well as specifics of my financing -- which i think in the end helped me be more prepared for the process (especially anticipating and planning for any issues on the financing side). Once I had made an offer, he was crucial in helping me navigate the inspection and negotiation steps to get a really good price for a great house. (Though he was always incredibly calm and personable with me, my lender called him a "bull dog" after seeing how he worked to negotiate with the listing agent!)

He was also incredibly responsive, even when i had questions "after hours". There are few people i have met who are as hardworking, honest, and genuine as Mike! Highly recommend!

Mike is an amazing realtor. He helped me get loan pre-approval in less than one day.He responded to all my texts and calls promptly each and every time. Mike is extremely patient, knowledgeable and explains things clearly. I felt he was my advocate through the buying process. Mike helped me a second time to transfer ownership of a property owned by four different couples. He was a master of coordination! I highly recommend him to anybody listing or buying a property!

My 8 months pregnant wife, myself and our 2 year old daughter were in a lease that we thought was a sure thing. One Friday night the landlord calls and says he is thinking about selling the house. The next morning we get a call that it's being sold to a realtor friend of his and we had 30 days to vacate. This was all right smack in the middle of winter in Tahoe with many feet of snow on the ground. We were absolutely panicked. We felt bullied by the buyer/other realtor and didn't know what to do. Okay... let me lay down a little background. My wife and I were never in the market for a home. We honestly thought we just couldn't ever afford buying a home in San Diego. One night we got the midnight phone call that changed our lives forever. My wife's father was struck by a car while riding his bike and paralyzed on the spot. After a few weeks he became stable and we began to come to terms with the situation. We also realized we were going to need to find a place to live where my father-in-law could live the best life possible with us in San Diego, and where he could have access to the medical care he needs. After looking at renting options we were left completely defeated... the home modifications required were enormous and no landlord would let us do them.
I thought it was a shot in the dark but I called Mike to get his opinion on our situation. After running some numbers and having us talk to a lender he called me and said, "Robin, I'm going to find you and your family the perfect home."
Our budget was tight and our requirement list was long. We needed a flat driveway, minimal steps into house, one story, room to wheel around, and on, on and on... Oh and it needs to be in central San Diego! I honestly thought it was impossible. But Mike was confident, and reassured us every step of the way. I forgot to mention, almost the entire time of the buying process I was travelling for work and my wife was with her Dad at a Spine rehab center in Atlanta. Mike supported us every step of the way and found us the perfect home - within budget, in a neighborhood we like, that meets all our needs.
If you are thinking about going with another agent I recommend you stop looking now. If you're serious about buying a home, and willing to walk the walk along side Mike, then there's no one better IMO to get you to the finish line.

We needed to renovate and quickly turn our rental property to new tenants. Mike quickly connected us up to contractors and in parallel had the listing ready for potential tenants. Mike's professionalism and expertise were crucial in making this happen. THANKS MIKE!
