Grandma's Restaurant

If your guys are ever in the Oceanside area SD, this local mom and paps joint is the place to go. I stumbled into this place when I visited Mission San Luis Rey in oceanside. This place was so good that I forgot to take pre breakfast mulding..lol..I had their chorizo, eggs, rice, and beans patter with fresh tortillas.. wow.
So good. But I did take pictures of their really cool art they were displaying. Once again, my people, make your food souls happy enjoy, and God bless

I was in the area, and I wanted Eggs Bene. So I just asked Google where to go. Thx Google, good choice! The eggs Benedict was really good.

My family got there breakfast 🥞 and they did not disappoint. Food was hot and delicious.

Excellent solo brunch on a quiet patio at 1 pm on a warm Tuesday in August. Ordered coffee, bacon & cheddar omelette with fresh fruit and sourdough toast on the side... did not disappoint, just like grandma used to make. Will be back tomorrow!

The staff was great and the food yummy! We be going back again and again. We had breakfast and now I want to try their lunches. Tiny place, with great biscuits and gravy! Eggs were to perfection and the hash browns were heavenly.

Grandma's restaurant never disappoints! whenever we're in the mood for wonderful home cooked meals without cooking it ourselves we come here. Today we got breakfast and it was divine nobody Cooks potatoes as perfect as Grandma's restaurant The Omelette was absolutely fantastic, The chicken fried chicken was over the top amazing the gravy was thick and absolutely yummy and the company was fantastic never change Grandma's restaurant!

Nice friendly atmosphere. Good service and food. Changed location (2023) a little while back to a nearby venue, sadly, not walking distance from previous restaurant but about a 5 minute drive. Not sure if location change due to pandemic but nice position with easy parking.

Had the fried chicken meal, very tasty and super fresh veggies.

very good food, i told the guy working at the counter it was my birthday and i got peach pie, happy birthday greeting with a happy birthday song.

I stopped in the morning for breakfast and it was delightful. The team was very nice, the food was very good, it came out quickly, and I really liked the portions. It wasn't too much and neither was the price. It's a great way to start the day.

Their breakfast specials are delicious and an excellent value. The food always taste fresh. If you like spicy salsa, I highly recommend the home made salsa. Delicious!

Little coffee shop and great food. Best omelets filled with fresh ingredients. And the home style potatoes are the best I've had. Looking for a meal like Grandma would make... this IS THE PLACE!

The breakfeast here is absolutely amazing. Been hooked since I first went in March. Service is A+ and super friendly, plus the aura and atmosphere is relaxed and home feeling.

The steak and eggs were quite good. Cooked to order and the plate/proportions were big. Great service and good people. Highly Recommended for breakfast and brunch.

Excellent! Im 6'3" 210, and i couldnt eat all my breakfast. Service was spot on, did a tremendous job. Highly recommend if in the area.

An excellent place to get a home cooked meal! Staff are awesome and truly care, I walked into a birthday surprise yesterday, with them singing and bringing me a chocolate muffin with a candle supplied by my Dad, very cool! We've been going there a few months now. Food is always yummy! Pot roast is amazing, Turkey dinner also very yummy! Meat loaf is good! Highly recommend giving them a shot!!!

We ordered breakfast. It was yummy. This seemed like a family owned restaurant. The staff was nice and attentive. We'd go again.

This place is so good! I can say firsthand that the omelettes and breakfast burrito are so delicious. The people who work here are super nice, welcoming, and funny.

Homey place, good price, and delicious food. The restaurant workers are great. I went twice for brunch while on a trip in the area because it was near my hotel. The food was flavorful and in large portions. If you want hot sauce, they have a delicious housemade hot sauce that is really good. A little hotter than the average grocery store fare, so not for those with no/low spicy tolerance, but I personally found it to be the perfect level for breakfast food.
