Super 8 by Wyndham Oceanside Marty's Valley Inn

I honestly had a great stay here. The room was spacious and it was quiet. The staff were friendly and very helpful. You won't be dissapointed, the only thing they ask for is a deposit if you use your debit card or cash. Other then that the service was great.

For the price -60 bucks-(and camping by beach on patch of dirt with your own tent cost 60 bucks here) this motel has awesome, great rooms -like one bedroom, huge -separate bedroom and closet / bath with sink and separate shower/ toilet! Bedroom has table and chairs, desk and office chair, fridge, microwave, coffeemaker... unbelievable! TV is flat screen, cable channels! Our room -across the pool, on second floor -upgraded and clean, 2 huge beds with nice bedding, good mattresses! And in closet iron and iron board! And free breakfast in the morning in this hotel!And not only pool but hot tub! Seriously, what can be better?! Best value for the money! Tamarack beach 10 min away, Legoland too... Of course it's not five stars, but unbelievable great value!!!

Room was clean, housekeeper was awesome when my grandma asked for extra pillows she got them right away, the staff were all very nice. There were some college kids being a little loud and drinking but they weren't a disturbance past 10pm we had fun in the pool then enjoyed relaxing watching cartoons in the room

Great customer service from Dorsey! He let us check in at 5 AM and we will be able to stay the whole day until tomorrow morning at check out. The breakfast wasn't just the usual continental, they have a freaking waffle maker. And it's awesome. Clean room. I think something is leaking above the shower in room 103, but I personally don't really give a crap. After the last hotel we stayed at in Oklahoma, anything can beat it. No bugs! Dead OR alive!

Everything was perfect. I guess i got one of the newer rooms. The room was located in the building in the back. I stayed the night withmy 1 year old, and my 16 year old sister. We had a good room with 2 beds. We were able to sleep fine. Love how the door has a little hole to see who is outside the door. The balcony curtains were a little dirty but that didnt both us since we didnt go outside. Everything else was clean. The only problem i did encounter was when i went to look for the room, i got off the car and told my sister to lock the car because i saw a homeless man roaming around suspiciously. As soon as i got off the car he instantly scared me! He darted in front of me, i flinched back and he just started laughing and walked away. Then on my way back i saw the manager telling him to leave the property. Never did i see that man again during my whole stay. Breakfast was good but it was just a little to cramped, the pool was nice and clean, we decided to go to the beach instead of the pool. The front desk guy was really sweet, reminded me of Corbin Bleu ❤. The day i checked in he was training a lady, she was sooooo NICE, made a small conversation about how her grandpa lives where I live 😀 i highly recommend this place! Use online coupons on retailmenot. You get the rooms cheaper!

I give it 5 stars bc of the manager Porshia, she was very accommodating given her circumstances. If you are looking for a beach side hotel this isn't it. The rooms are in the process of getting redone but staff is limited. Housekeeping and maintenance work hard but there are alot of rooms. Breakfast has good waffles and coffee, but you are right on the main strip. So less than a mile you got Dollar Tree one way and a .99 cent store and Wal-Mart the other. It's right on the bus line and the beach is maybe a 5 min car ride or 10 minutes on the bus. It was great for the purposes I was there for. There is alot of misplaced people in California period, some find themselves living there, and they accept pets which is different for me bc alot of people do have their pets there. The price is good if you need a place to stay, I wasn't there for the Cali life scene so it met all my needs I stayed almost a week and would return if I have to go back to handle some personal business. Hopefully it will be in their budget soon so they will be able to hire more staff. Did get a pretty good tan out by the pool but you gotta go early before the sun moves behind Palm trees. I would recommend it if you are there for a purpose or will be gone exploring the city and surrounding areas and just need someplace to shower, change, sleep and the cable is good. However if you are looking for California suites with room service and butler's on the beach this is not for you, look at Oceanside beach front hotels. Don't go into it with high expectations and then trip if they aren't met it's Cali, you get what you pay for.....just being honest.

It wasn't the cleanest at all but it wasn't the worst either. It's quite the staff is very kind and I'd stay there again. The beds were clean it was the outside view of the hotel which got me the most. Boxes outside and trash.im also just happy it's minutes by the beach .

Had a wonderful experience! The tv was not working, and we were immediately upgraded to a better room for the same price! Staff was great and wi-fi worked worked great! Didn't even get free wi-fi at Bally's, Vegas nor a nice breakfast

This Super 8 is awesome. Helpful professional staff, nice large room with fluffy pillows and nice TV. This hotel is close to everything and I had one of the best times ever. I will be back! Thank you super 8. mm

The front desk assistant was super nice and undedfstanding. The lobby is clean and well kept. My room was big and roomy with a comfortable bed.

Great price for a nice room, short ditstance to the beach and other shopping centers.... Dont let yelp reviews and other negative keep you from giving this place a try works if your on a budget.

It was late and not much available open to get food nearby. The host offered some of her pizza. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Really nice ppl at the front desk. Place does need to be up grades but very clean and mins from a lot of activities!! I would come back

My girlfriend came into town and got a room at the Super 8 I find the room that she was in was not all that great it looks like it's been remodeled but the pain could use some touch up the bathroom could use a little cleaning bedspreads looks kind of old I'm sure maybe there are rooms that should have a better quality to them considering the location on Mission in the valley really it being the only Motel on Mission in the valley and that location you would think that would have a higher class of rooms I don't know what the deal is anyway maybe they do maybe they're hidden in the back as far as giving it a personal rating it wouldn't be one of the best motels

This place has to fix there ice cream machine. Other than this a nice quite place to get some rest.
