Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Oceanside

The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the community is very wonderful. There is a simple note, which is that there is no hole for draining water in the bathroom. In general, the stay was wonderful and I will come here again if the opportunity arises👍🏻

Really great spot. I enjoyed the room layout, pool area, and gym. The customer service was great and the coffee and downstairs bar was a good hangout spot. Solid. The only thing I will mention is the only Ice machine working was in the first floor, but only a minor inconvenience. Valeries taco shop up the street makes a good breakfast burrito.

This is the BEST Marriot property I have stayed at for customer service. I travel to the San Diego area a few times a year, I stay at various, mostly Marriot hotels. What makes this the most amazing experience is the staff! Levania, front desk staff, should be promoted to a manager! Levania is a seasoned Marriott employee, she is professional, personable and very knowledgeable! We also enjoyed Steve from the front desk and the night attendant as well, they made us feel very welcomed throughout our stay.

During our stay, there was a team staying at the property. We did not hear anything! We had a relaxing private stay. Which I think had to do with the seasoned staff setting expectations.

Property is within walking distance of some restaurants. A short drive to the ocean, shopping and Camp Pendelton. The rooms were well appointed, clean and spacious-just wish that they had a microwave We were there during the hurricane so we had some time in the room. We enjoyed the rolling table for meals and a board game. The beds were very comfortable! They also have an on-site restaurant, food was great!

This is now my go to hotel for future visits to the San Diego area, I have already booked a November stay! The reason this is my go to hotel now is Levania. PLEASE do not let her leave!!! PLEASE promote this dedicated loyal employee!

The facility was very nice, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff (from receptionist to the housekeeping) were very professional with a positive attitude, attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to their guests. Great location away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Oceanside. Plenty of restaurants nearby and would not hesitate to stay here again
Room Tip: avoid rooms that surround the patio and pool area, it can get noise and loud at times

There is no complimentary breakfast. They gave us this ticket for it but was told there is no breakfast. And she was pretty rude. It was my brother n laws who booked it for us with his company. Me and his mother weren't happy. So not sure we'll stay there again. And we are always in that area.

We had a very nice stay! Quiet and peaceful. The food was wonderful and the service was great!!

I stay primarily only at Marriotts when traveling for work, and I came across an excellent representative of the Marriott brand when I met Steve at the front desk of this location today. Polite, accommodating, and very professional. I will definitely be coming back here, thank you Steve.

Absolutely great Marriott location! Nice rooms, plenty of space, large lobby seating, relaxing pool hot tub, outside fireplace's with more comfortable seating. Starbucks coffee is a plus... Ask for Erika she is very efficient, professional and friendly. Helped us out with our reservations, changed a stressful situation into a smooth and pleasant check in!

One of the nicer courtyard by marriotts that I've been too. Rooms were clean , staff was attentive, very friendly hosts. Snacks , bar and food.

The people were all so nice and accommodating. This place is a very nice get away even if you are local. It's quiet, I had the pool to myself and it's out of the hustle from downtown Oceanside. This place is top notch has all you need. If you don't like their food down east on Oceanside Blvd are nice restaurants. Really close by. A must stay for any occasion.

Staff super helpful and friendly. Great location. Very clean and updated. Wonderful outdoor patio area. Snacks drinks available for purchase 24 hrs. There is also an onsite bistro with starbucks and limited adult beverages and food for purchase. The only negatives were no free breakfast, no microwave in room, and the fridge in room is tiny. While the outdoor area and lobby/lounge are nice, they are often full. Our family was able to enjoy the outdoor sitting area only one night during our 5 day stay. The rest of the time there were large groups occupying the spaces. The location is nice and a short drive to many restaurants and shopping locations, but none walkable. Would definitely recommend and would return again.

What agreat place to stay at.
Staff made it welcoming at 7pm when we arrived to check in. So thank you staff.
We got to order some food to take up to our room after a quick check in.
The room was great. Clean and stocked with everything we needed.

The staff are friendly and our room was clean, convenient and attractive. We has a beautiful view of the hillside from the second floor. We heard some construction noise around 10 a.m. from overhead and around 11 p.m. we heard a train go by, but it wasn't overly loud.
Free parking but no free breakfast bar.
Overall we loved this hotel.

Our room was great & we plan on going back next year. We stayed 3 nights & 4 days & although we do not drive the public transportation serves the area well. The staff is so helpful & makes you feel at home from the moment we checked in. Did not get the young lady’s name that checked us in, but she was professional yet so friendly she made us feel special. All staff members were so helpful, however a special thanks to Kelly, Jamie & Sokthary were very helpful & pleasant with us as we are both visually impaired. We ate breakfast there every morning & very pleased with the quality, taste & portions served were excellent friendly staff. The resort type pool, exercise room & lounge area provide a real relaxing atmosphere to enjoy southern California living. We enjoyed our stay & recommend it. Don & Adele.

Excellent customer service at this business traveler oriented Courtyard. I stay here very often on business, and majority of the staff remembers me by name. Rooms always clean and fresh smelling, bistro service is prompt, and all amenities are always working properly. Two spots for EV charging (120 V outlets for hotel guests) are nice perk, and hotel GM responds to your email very promptly.

Great for families! We stayed in a room with a King size bed and a roll out sofa bed. There was no bathtub, just a large shower. My only complaint was that the bathroom door wouldn't stay open and automatically shut, which made air circulation in the bathroom difficult.

We have stayed here numerous times and find the facility is excellent, the price is always sensible and we are off the freeway so the noise level is low, especially if you get an east facing room. Would be nice if they added at least a continental breakfast for us very early risers. The staff is first class.
