Shadow Hill Park

Beautiful park and playground has things we haven’t seen at many other parks. My son loved it and he gets bored easily. Swings and canopy above. My son’s favorite: a glider and monkey bars. It’s amazing how many parks don’t have monkey bars.

Playground had lots of seating for parents, yet another thing many parks don’t have.

Beautiful nature and trees and lots of shade, great place for picnics. Decent parking lot and bathroom.

Would definitely come back.

I will definitely have a kids birthday here. Great location. Safe and spacious. Good neighborhood.

Very clean beautiful park. Gated area with large grass field, hiking spots, tables to sit and eat and bbqs. An amazing park for the family

Beautiful "hole in the wall" park. Nice sized playground for kids, basketball and tennis courts. There is a little hiking trail, plenty of park benches/ tables and good sized grass area!

Park was not crowded. Benches and picnic tables are set apart perfectly to follow social distancing guidelines. Small park but spacious enough for kids to run, hike and sititing on grass area

One of our favorite little parks in East county. Tucked away. Has tennis courts and basketball courts. They play area has grass and a sidewalk great for scootering. Also has hiking trails and many picnic tables under trees. Amazing sunsets!

We went there yesterday to check the park. My neighbor told me that it is a good park. My son was having fun running around. Nice park. Not so crowded when we went there.
Update. It's still one of the good parks to go to close to Santee and Lakeside.

Nice place to take the kids. However last time A family broke the swing.

Celebrated my grandson's B-Day here. Nice park playground area for the little ones. A gazebo with concrete tables & benches. Bathrooms nearby and plenty of parking

Fun little park. Has two playgrounds, a bigger one for older children and a smaller one for the little ones. Clean facilities, shaded gazebo for parties with picnic tables and BBQs basketball quarts, open grass field from running, football or kite flying and a short hiking trail. Never very crowded. Great place for kids birthday parties or just a place to let the kids play

This is one of my favorite parks in the area. We visited a few times a week when my kids were younger. It’s scenic and beautiful and the equipment is well maintained. There plenty of shade to play in. Bathroom are not horrible. It can get crowded on the weekends. Great Pokemon.

Nice little park hidden in a nice shady spot. Cute trail by the bathrooms and clean courts!

Had my daughters baby shower here today, and it was amazing! We had really nice weather but I was happy for the shade gazebo. It was an unexpected and pleasant surprise to find we had outlets that worked. Only $95 for the entire day! I definitely book another event here!!

This park was a real treat. My friend and I were looking for a place to sit and talk. It was a hot day and we needed a place with some shade. We were near Shadow Hill Park. I'm so glad we went! The park was wonderful! Lot's of trees and grass. Benches are around the park and picnic tables. They also have BBQ's to use. There is also a very large area that's covered with picnic tables underneath it. Lots of things on the children's playground. Large restrooms. I'm definitely going back! Even if it's just to sit and read a book by myself. I like this park!!

It was good. I never knew about the park. It was for a Celebration of Life of someone, I know a family member of theirs but didn't know the departed personally. Wasn't sure where in the park the gathering was but after using the restroom and seeing a clue where it was by a Facebook photo, I had a nice time. Other than smelling incense because the family had plenty of incense sticks burning. 🤢
But other than that, a nice time.

I enjoy taking my nieces and nephews here. The park is clean and safe. I like they have a canopy covering the playground because it does get very hot here. Lots of picnic benches in the shade. Lots of grass to run around and even set out a blanket for a grass picnic. There is a tiny trail which is fun for the littles to walk. Make sure to bring your own water... the water fountains usually do not work.

Great park to take the kids. Large playground with that spongy soft foam "ground" so the kids don't break stuff if they fall. Plenty of grass and even some tennis courts. There are also some tables under a roof type structure for birthday parties. Overall a nice little community park.
