Mast Park

This is a lovely park with a fun 9 hole Par 3 disc golf course. There are two concrete tee pads and excellent signage for each hole. We played the shorts and longs to make 18 and it was a fun round. Most are sub 250 ft, but the baskets are placed well with the trees forcing a variety of shot types. Our local friend said it was a well loved course. We played a sunrise round and only saw a few groups by the time we ended. Would love to play again with my own discs!

Excellent location for a walk, run, bike ride! The path is relatively flat and firm. Suitable for bikes and strollers. There is a disc golf course, walking/riding path, playground and fitness station with equipment. The dog park here has 3 sections: puppies up to 30 pounds, small dogs up to 30 pounds and large dogs and also provides waste disposal bags and trash recepticles. Near the dog area you will find water fountains which include access for people and a bowl below for dogs. There are restrooms at the front and back of the park.

I mainly come for the Disc Golf course which is an awesome 9 hole course with 2 different distance throwing pads at each hole, so you can do a round of 9 holes at the shorter distance pads and then complete a second round of 9 at the longer distance pads. Well maintained and a ton of fun with friends. Also park is open till 10 so have fun bringing glow in the dark disk and playing at night. Or if you catch the Disc Golf store while it's open, you can buy glow in the dark stickers and place them on your Disc if they aren't glow in the dark. I highly recommend for any experience level. Also the playgrounds are fun too

Favorite park ever. The multiple playgrounds work for different ages, and the pathways are nice for strollers. The bathrooms are clean, and the trails are relatively smooth and well kept. My boys are obsessed with the nature area and the forestry service truck.

Santee has really done a good job here. Playground, frisbee golf, bike and walking trails, and some cool birds.

This place is truly remarkable. It has a very large play area for the kids. It had concrete walkways throughout. There is plenty of seating options including giant concrete Adirondack chairs that are surprisingly comfortable.

The have bicycle maintenance stations with stands to hold your bike and air pumps to fill tires. The have clean bathrooms.

They have a very large fenced in dog park. They have a disc golf course.

You will need to come back often just to use all of these amenities.

If you ever wondered if you would find a park that met the needs of a community, this is the gold standard.

We reserved a large gazebo for my son's birthday party. It was close to the restrooms, had a BBQ pit, 7 large tables. The playground kids loved the playground. I like how they have a playground for the little toddlers and one for bigger kids.

Aside from the party aspect, this park has a sizeable dog park, basketball court, disc golf, and a nice walking trail around.

Parking can be challenging but we've never had to wait for too long.

Playground: New structures with tons to do. One structure for younger kids, one structure for slightly older kids, and one for much older kids. The flooring is tanbark. There was plenty of shade from large mature trees in the morning. Plenty of benches to sit on. There is even adult workout equipment right next to the playground. There is also a ‘Nature Discovery Area’ with climbable rocks and fallen trees. This is probably the most impressive playground in San Diego County for kids.
Bathrooms: A large bathroom structure is a bit of a walk from the playground.
Parking: Free small parking lot.
Location: This is in a pretty good sized park that is beautiful. The only downside is the playground was soaking wet from dew in the morning.
Safety: A few unhoused, no trash, many kids, and many adults exercising or walking dogs. There is a dog park here but all the dogs outside the dog park were leashed.

This is a very nice park to visit with kids. There are many play areas with nice play equipment. We were here for a kids' birthday party, and the kids had so much fun exploring the different options.
The caveat we found on a Saturday was how many parties were happening at the same time and how hard it was to find parking. We did not explore the entire park, but we loved the part we saw.

Lovely park! One of the best parks in San Diego in my opinion. The bathrooms were typical park bathrooms and not very clean, but the beauty of the park and playgrounds make up for that.

This is a really nice large park for walking, disc golf or playing for kids. There are two large fenced dog parks in the center for small and large dogs.

It's especially busy on the weekends and parking is sometimes hard to find even in the overfill lot, but a beautiful destination.

Love this place, it's like a hidden gem. With trails, picnic area, ball court, disc golf and dog parks.

A great community park in Santee with a very nice playground, dog park, trails and a disc golf course.

Recently renovated, family friendly park. Great for kids with play equipment and walking areas. Bathrooms, pavilions, and picnic tables. Disk golf course and a large dog park with sections. Good parking available (free). Highly recommend this park.

Big park with a flat trail for bikes and walking. The children's playground is big with 2 separate ones for smaller kids and older kids. There is also the frisbee golf course available. There are a lot of trees so on hot days at least you can sit in the shade.

It can get crowded on some days but overall a really nice park.

This park is great! Tons of space, awesome for picnics, bbqs, tables, dog park, disc golf, cornhole, and basketball hoop. Also great trails for strolling along. Great a and b disc golf course and very well maintained.

Hidden gem if you want a well kept park with basketball court, picnic tables, shaded lawns, dog park with different areas for different size dogs, a playground, and even Frisbee golf placed throughout three park

Beautiful park and walking trail. Went to hang with some friends and 4 babies, we felt safe and comfortable. There is lots of parking, but can be hard to find on a weekend.
