Oak Canyon Waterfall (seasonal)

Great place to hike. Grab your boots and hit the trails. Not too crowded and an easy walk. You can park on Mission Gorge Road or drive in closer via Junipero Serra trail to see if an open spot is available for your car. Arrive early to enjoy a less crowded area. As the map indicates falls are seasonal but the hike is nice anyways.

Easy trail. Be careful when hiking in rain, the rocks get slippery and muddy. Waterfall ain't big but still good.

Absolutely beautiful. Water is flowing like crazy right now!! Such a treat and a pleasure. High traffic at the start of the trail but became less and less crowded the further in we went. Follow the trail all the way towards the bridge. Flowers everywhere! Saw a water snake, lizard, and a GIANT grasshopper ! Highly recommend this while the rainy season is here and still active :))

During rainy season this hike is a lo5 of fun. If it has recently rained be prepared to cross minor water. Waterfall is not very big but the hike along the river is beautiful. There is a parking lot but it only fits a handful of cars.

I loved the hike here. It’s end of October when we took this hike. Walk in between trees and bushes was interesting and refreshing.
I wish to come back again after good rainfall to see the river flowing.

Trail is flat, but sometimes you have to go through the rocks. Many stones are on the path. Waterfalls aren’t so big, but pretty. Many people with dogs. And parking is free, so you can have some troubles with it

Very beautiful hiking trail, easy but recommend wearing hiking shoes especially after rains.

It's a nice trail and even though the waterfall is on the small side it's still beautiful.

Very nice place, it was a long long way to get here but that was completely worth it. Highly recommend to eat a torta here.

Exceptional spot to spend a few moments reflecting on how lucky we are to have maintained some of this natural beauty. We thank the previous generations for preserving this area from the sprawling city so that we may enjoy it for generations to come. This beautiful spot is a sanctuary. Recommend all to visit.

So beautiful 😍 and easy even for little kids. Come enjoy it while is green, blooming and full.

Fun little hike. A few water crosses when I went. The group moved at a fast pace and made it in and back at 1hr 15mins some of the smaller kids took an extra 30 minutes but everyone made the hike.
