Absolutely breathtaking views right outside the home. The house is very clean and modern enough. Very clean and comfortable. There are plenty of things to do around Cascade Locks, Hood River, and other towns, but you'll be tempted to hang at the house and enjoy the incredible view and relax.

We will definitely be back.

A lovely boutique RV park. Great views of the river. We enjoyed the private walk down to the coves, where we skipped stones and played on boulders on the river. The property is well maintained and the bathrooms were clean and functional.

Don’t forget your white noise machine. Highway on one side, and train tracks on the other provides some noise. Not too bad.

We had an incredible stay at the Coves! The view is breathtaking.
Make sure to walk down past the railroad tracks during sunset.

Stayed here for a week August 2022 in 28' motorhome with toad. Large, level back-in sites with plenty of room and individual grassy areas. Yes, you can literally see the train tracks and highway from the RV sites, but there are lots of trees and blackberry bushes that give privacy. There were a couple of times that the noise was annoying when walking my dog but if I would’ve used headphones, it wouldn’t have been a bother. If you sleep with the windows open and/or you're a light sleeper, the train noise might be noticeable but I slept like a baby. I walked my dog 3 times/day and the train passing never blocked my ability to get over the tracks or to/from my RV. Special thanks to Janet who responded promptly the several times I text her asking to use the laundry (I always tried to give her at least 1 hour’s notice). The laundry was only $1 each (quarters only) for washer and dryer and they worked very well. Our T-mobile was consistently good and the the Waterfall Corridor was less than 10 minutes away (certain times/year, make sure you get your Timed Permit Reservation online or you can’t get access to exits 28-35). So much to see and do nearby and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place.

This place is spectacular! We found it while looking for a last minute 3 day getaway and I am so thankful we did. Beautiful views, beautiful property, and close to all the hikes we wanted to do. This was our first time to visit, but it definetly won't be our last. Plus the manager was so kind to contact me when she found my friend's camera and ship it to him. 🧡

An incredible experience! The High House was beautiful, clean, luxurious Cabin. The jacuzzi, even in very cold weather, was a highlight of the weekend. Right next the highway. A short drive into Stevenson. We definitely plan on a return visit.

Wake up every morning to the sound of a family member exclaiming, “Oh my god! That View!” I have never been at an RV park with views this exceptional right out your RV windows! Is it the most beautiful place on earth, quite possibly. Yes, there are trains. Yes, they are loud and frequent. However, the owners are up front and honest about the trains so it comes as no surprise. Inside the RV you will not be bothered by the sound and only once in three nights was I woken by a train whistle, if that’s what it was. The view and the location of this amazing gated RV resort can’t be beat!

We rented out most of these units for our family during our wedding in the area. The accommodations and amenities are comfortable and well cared for--far exceeding my expectations. It was a great spot for our families, and also wonderful just to grab some romantic moments as a couple. The views are incredible, and I highly recommend catching the sunrise if you're up for it. The kids will enjoy counting the eagles that fly overhead scanning the Columbia river for fish. What a perfect little escape they've built there at The Resort at Skamania Coves! Thank you to the owner for sending us a growler of beer to our table while we were out at the local brewery in town as well!

You know when you discover a place so wonderful and unspoiled—that you simply don’t want to share it?
That’s this place, it’s stunningly beautiful, quiet and wooded. RV spots are nice, try for upper loop though for better views.
The overlook cabin has stunning views with an amazing wood ceiling ( see picture for a glimpse ).
The views of the Columbia River at the base of Oregon are heart happy picturesque ❤
There is also a private beach in a cove!!
A must stay!!

My wife and I stayed at the treehouse and it was just perfect. The right amount of rustic, spacious and cozy. Would defintely go back. The owner and staff were also wonderful to us when we were struggling to figure out how to use our gift certificate!

We visited the RV park for the first time. I wish we had come sooner. The place is clean and well kept but most importantly reflects the hearts of the owners and their desire to steward the land in a way that honors the spirit of those who first inhabited this area.

Stopped in here two days ago to squeeze in an additional night of camping after an extended stay in the area. They were able to accommodate my last minute request with no problem and got us an RV spot. It was also a nice greeting with all of the attention from the manager's Yorkie :) Beautiful views here, clean level sites and hook-ups in great shape. The shower building immaculate clean. The swimming area is also very nice in a great shady cove,. If you like trains, and I do, it was neat to watch them coming through. The only thing I would change is have their sign closer to the road on HWY 14. You can miss the turn coming from Stevenson if never been here before. Just a really nice place and sort of wish I started the trip in the RV here. On my short list for future trips

Great place right along the river. Definitely some train noise but also swimming, blackberries and the owner and staff were awesome. FYI I just "tent" camped in my van but it was a great place for some sailing. Looking forward to returning!

Stayed at the treehouse for two nights on our Pacific Northwest adventure and this place was incredible! So unique and cozy inside. Views were remarkable and we barely wanted to leave. Loved it! (Do know there’s a train that runs by fairly often but it’s not too bad and with the windows closed we were hardly bothered)

Best get away I’ve ever had. This place was like a treasure and I just kept finding gems and jewels all over our rental. It was gorgeous. Fully equipped and I mean everything you need. Blankets? Utensils? Videos? Games? Books? Covers and beaches? Swimming? Everything you need and could want minus food! And fully ready to cook and bake and serve. I loved it. Will be returning someday!

This is a hidden treasure among RV park offerings along the Columbia River Gorge. The signage inside the park leaves nothing to guess work. One nice feature is the coded security gate to ensure that guests are afforded the privacy they deserve. Wonderful views of the river Gorge. Also offers some homes and cabins plus a treehouse for those wanting to get away but don't have or choose to bring an RV. Extremely nice owners.

I have been blessed to be able to stay at The Resort at Skamania Coves on many occasions. I have stayed in both The River House & The High House multiple times.

The High House has 3 bedrooms, is newer & has sweeping views of the Gorge. I was able to take my small, well behaved dog there as well. It was so wonderful I have 2 more weekends booked there this year.

The River House, my favorite, is a one bedroom charmer! It's simply magical. I would live there if I could. It is secluded and a rare find along the Columbia River.

Yes there is a train very close by which I had to get used to the 1st night but by the 2nd we were old friends. There are so many special qualities about this place that the train simply doesn't tip the scale to negative. It's all wonderful! In fact... that train really plays a role in the step back in time feel you have of early years in the Gorge.

The couple that manages the resort are adorable! Always quick to respond to my emails. Eight months pregnant, she and her husband came down in the dark one night when I didn't know how to use the wifi. Very attentive... always sweet. They do a fantastic job. I read a review where the folks left an RV spot early because of the train and they didn't get a refund. Unfortunately that is business and they have a business to run and I imagine they couldn't re-rent the spots. Unfortunate but that stuff happens and that's how any place would deal with it. If they stuck it out I would imagine that would have all become background noise as it is to me. At least I would hope so.

The coves are breathtaking and peaceful. I cannot say enough good about this sweet spot. If you haven't already, put this on your bucket list. You will regret not enjoying this incredible place, the peacefulness of it, the views it offers.... it's like spying on God.

Our first R V visit. The sites were generous in spacing. The Columbia Gorge was magnificent this Memorial Day weekend. We have booked other accommodations over the summer at Skamania Coves.

What a fabulous duplex we rented for our family! It had laundry, full kitchen, two separate bedrooms and a futon in the living room, with full satellite tv options, BEAUTIFUL views of the Columbia River gorge area, and is secluded from the busyness of Portland.

A gorgeous setting for a wedding. Views of the river and mountains. Food was excellent and the bed was comfortable.
