Junipero Serra park is a beautiful little getaway with stunning bay views, meadows, oak groves and redwood trees. The hiking trails are great and there is an awesome playground and picnic areas. The big slides are closed right now - it is very long and steep and a lot of fun so hopefully they reopen it soon.

Restrooms are clean for a park and well maintained - they close at 4:00. Very dog friendly with dogs allowed on leash throughout the park.

Awesome place to get a fun little hike in and to enjoy the stunning view of the city. 😊 The park ranger I spoke to was nice as well.
There's a lot of steep paths, so if not in a good condition that's something to keel in mind!

Nice little park. Scenic view of San Francisco airport. It has got small gentle trails with picnic area.
You can reserve and have small outdoor party with barbecue pits.

Trail has got play area closed currently with volunteers helping maintain the park.

Be careful with poison oak on the trails.

really nice facility with tranquil and clearly marked trail heads. nothing intense, but makes for a really enjoyable stroll on a quiet saturday afternoon. not too many people about and people were good about wearing masks and keeping distance. there is a parking fee, but it looked like not everyone paid?

Calm, peaceful, and trails maintained very well. Scottie didn't know, now she knows!

Wonderful views from the hillside park - also an enormous, impressive two-lane metal slide for kids to fly down (be careful of the speed for littles!). Always super clean, well-maintained, bathrooms on site. Parking is a little expensive ($6.25 as of Feb 2022) especially if you're not planning to stay too long.

This is a wonderful little park, you can see the airport and the downtown from the top of the park, there is a nice BBQ section for rental, where you can pay to reserve, and an open section. Everything is pretty well maintained, pretty clean and bike able from BART.

The views of the bay breathtaking. Looks like a great place for a birthday party. U DO HAVE TO PAY FOR PARKING BOOO! BUT IM CHEAP! THE PARK IS TOTALY WORTH IT!

Nice park for a little hike. There are a few different loop trails you can take. It feels like you’re deep in the woods, when you’re actually in central San Bruno.

Great for dogs playing and humans hammocking. The side I visited has a pavilion with tables so it could potentially be great for a barbecue.
Overall no complaints, I will explore it more again soon!

I grew up here, all 60 years of my life, so far. Beautiful memories there. I still miss the old swings, though.

We picnicked at the drop-in picnic area near the upper playground, which has several play structures, two huge slides, & a swingset. We all appreciated how clean & well-kept the area is, plus the chainlink fence adds a level of safety for children. Amazing views, lovely environment. LOTS of pine & eucalyptus so the air smells wonderful! There are many nice walking trails to explore, too.

Love this park. 6$ to park but that's ok. Hecka big trees around. Weather is always nice. Great place to reserve for a party. Isolated and there's a playground nearby. My family has been coming here for years.

Dog friendly, great for daily 45min walk up and around the trail. Careful not to allow the pup in the poison oak though. Well taken care of park in general. Nice park rangers.

A hidden gem just minutes from SFO with views of the bay, multiple activities for kids, easy hiking trails, good parking.

Not only a nice place to take the kids. But also a place where you can go to sit relax and enjoy the scenery. Sometimes I go there to meditate or just be alone. You can see SFO and watch the airplane land and take off without the noise. I also hike. I start at the bottom from Christal spring park and walk up you can take two or three trails that are available. Just remember to take a walking stick because they are warning signs of cougar in the area. I never encountered one, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

Had fun finding this sweet spot! Not busy when we stopped by. Drove up the hill there to find a playground with a view!!! You can see planes taking off from the San francisco Airport while you're sliding down their tall slides or climbing up their jungle gym! There's a field nearby perfect for a soccer game or for a picnic . Bathrooms are available.
