Ashley's Cafe

I’ve been going here since the day it opened. I love the owner and her family, watched them grow up the café is friendly well located the vegetarian sandwich it may be the best vegetarian sandwich I’ve ever had, my only complaint is the menu hasn’t changed in 20 years, which is fine for most people because there is a lot of choice, but I would love to see new stuff. As I write that, I realize I exaggerate the core menu hasn’t changed, but there are definitely some new and interesting additions that pop up. Great neighborhood café.

My coworker invited me to try a sandwich at Ashley's. I ordered a Turkey BLT. The sandwich roll was toasted and the ingredients were exactly as described in the menu. I offer the sandwich 2 stars. The price for my regular sandwich was $13.50. I can understand if the cost of the food reflects the quality, quantity and taste but my sandwich had neither. I definitely will not return. Overpriced and Overrated.

I love Ashley’s. We’re regulars, have been for over a decade now. I love anything with lox or salmon. It’s fresh sliced thin and delicious. Today I got the salmon salad and ate it so fast I forgot to take a picture. Another big bonus for me is the outdoor seating so that my dog Sweetheart can come with us. Also that homemade cookie is sinfully delicious!

Their Turkey Avocado sandwich is SO delicious (honestly probably one of my favorites in SF). Love their chocolate chip cookies and coffee too. Ashley’s is easily my favorite place for lunch in the Richmond.

Perfect spot for lunch after a long walk along Lake Street! Had some fresh and filling sandwiches and refreshing drinks topped off with homemade cookies 🥹 will add this to my weekend walk routine!

We were looking for a cute, calm cafe while it was raining. We found it ! Great croissant breakfast sandwich, fair price !

I just feel like this is such a sweet cafe with a nice owner. And I liked my experience here. There’s a lot of tables and good sandwich options.

Love this place, go there with my daughter after school. The owners and staff are all really pleasant. One of our neighborhood favorites.

A beautiful coffee shop, in a beautiful part of town. The greatest part about Ashley's Cafe however, is that this cafe opens at 6am most days. If you find yourself in Inner Richmond or the surrounding areas at 6AM and you need coffee, this is where you are going to go. Fresh squeezed orange juice too! And hot, made to order breakfast sandwiches.

The place is inviting and the food and service match the looks.

Sandwiches are pretty good. Good prices and good sandwiches and coffee options.

My go to Coffee and Sandwich place. I have been in there many times and each time, the staff was super nice and also the coffee and food outstanding especially BLTA. Love brewed coffee and they have a mushroom coffee that is amazing. Thank you!

My favorite spot in SF, I used to go here every morning for a delicious in-skillet breakfast,l with a matcha latte, and I’d always get a few onigiri for a midday snack.

For years Ashley’s been my go-to place after gym. Try their steak sandwiches, they are pretty awesome!

Cheap, great tasting coffee with well-priced, delicious foods. I found Ashley's cafe a few months ago, and ever since then it has been a staple in my morning routine. I usually get the iced coffee with the lox bagel. The caffeine and hearty breakfast is enough to wake me up and get my day started. Would highly recommend if anybody is visiting the area, or needs a staple for their daily fix of caffeine and breakfast.

We got the Bulgogi, Salmon, and Kimchi onigiri. They were absolutely amazing. Would recommend. My father thoroughly enjoyed the dark black coffee. Matcha was delightful as well as the healthy nut bar.

Had a club sandwich (daily special?) And it was the best I've had. The bread is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. And the mayo, which should be the most boring part of any sandwich, was actually a star! Plus, this club had some jalapenos, which just made everything pop. Excellent!

Came in real quick to buy something cheap to get change for the bus. Instead, I was greeted in an exceptionally friendly way and was told not to worry about buying something and just gave me the change for my buck. For a second I thought I was back home in Colorado. Not only does this make me want to come back and actually try the cafe out, but it just goes to show how they treat not only their customers, but people as well. With such a kind atmosphere, I doubt it would be any different when I return as a customer. Experience is more than half of why I still go out to places. Otherwise, I'd buy things at the market and save the money. They exceeded my expectations as a potential customer, keep up the great work guys.
