bb.q Chicken Lynnwood

I always go to Hmart for groceries, but it's my first time trying the Korean BBQ chicken. I know it will be delicious with rice and pickled radish! My all-time favorite, though, is honey garlic crispy chicken. Just thinking about it always makes my mouth water!

First off bomb chicken. Second Andy the server was so friendly and helpful. She even asked us how it was. We got the half and half. Perfect fried goodness. Just what I have been looking for. Great spices and the chicken is still tender and juicy.

I don't know why this place got a bad review. The fried chicken is really good, also yangyum chicken too. I think this place is very similar to chicken in Korea. And the cashier staff was really nice and friendly. I would go back to this place.

No clue what the food tastes like being a vegetarian but everyone that eats it around me seems delighted so it must be good. Come for the chicken stay for the h Mart food court ambiance.

Updated: we ordered fried chicken today and it tasted much better than before. I was really worrying and considering between should I try one more or not. However, the chicken was brined properly, and the batter was really crunchy enough. I will try marinated things later.

The previous owner deserves all the bad comments he/she received.

New owner alert!! Finally, a new owner took over here. I actually went back after reading someone’s review that the owner is different now.
I’ve tried 3-4 times so far, and unless you get golden fried chicken, they tend to overuse sauce (I got honey and spicy). I guess it's pretty American-style ish with excessive sauce, and I assume this place probably is not entirely run by Koreans 247. The golden original (no sauce) is the best, and my parents love the honey flavor, and it never disappoints us. Honestly, those are the only ones worth to get. FYI, the one in LA always delivers right like flavor wise (they had their issues) but I’m happy with this location under the new management. Also, it's best to pick up since this food court tends to be loud and not as comfy to enjoy food.

Keep it good work! I love new management.
I am Korean and I know how the Korean style fried chicken should taste.
No more old oil taste(cosmetic taste)
The chicken is crispy(perfect tenderness), they use small marinated chicken and fresh oil!

Yummy food! As the sign says, definitely order before you shop so that you have some time to kill but definitely worth it. These are the hot and spicy wings combo with cheese balls

Hello all as of 1/1/2023 a new management has taken over this location. We have read all the reviews and know about the lack of quality in food and service from the previous ownership. We have re-trained and adjusted the personnel in order to better serve all of our customers. We ordered a takeout from doordash today. It is good! Crispy and well seasoned. Looks like the new management indeed made some improvements. I hope it can keep up as there are not so many other fried chicken options around the area.

I went to five different places for Korean fried chicken in Greater Seattle. Bb.q Chicken in Lynnwood had the juiciest chicken of them all. The crunch also lasted for hours, especially the Golden Fried Chicken. Also the amount of meat on it was satisfying!

From reading reviews on Yelp and Google Maps, it sounds like the chicken is sometimes dry and not consistently excellent. Perhaps we got lucky because our batch was juicy and tasty inside and out. We'll come back again and hopefully get lucky once more :)

Tip: The wait time can get long, so be sure to order your chicken before shopping at Hmart. In our experience, it was worth the wait. Hey, it's made fresh!

Super crispy & juicy! Got the Golden fried wings. No difference from the so cal locations to me. The staff was nice and patient.

KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN HAS LANDED!!

This is just like the fried chicken I had yeeeaaarrrs ago during my time in the Army and stationed in Korea!

Flavors are boosted and the crunch is just right without breaking a tooth or having to drink some cooking oil.

We had the house special and honey garlic, half (10 pieces) each, 20 pieces total. Not a bad price considering the comparison of other places. I think its literally a half chicken cut and fried in 10 pieces. I had a tail end with the medallion from both flavors. Winner winner chicken dinner...or lunch...

With the new management, I can tell that they are really trying to get back to how bb.q chicken was when it first opened, and the chicken I got today was super tasty and flavored well, crispy and I’ll for sure come back again.

I got the half and half. The golden fried chicken was nicely battered and seasoned, good hint of olive oil taste, and had a really nice crunch. The special fried chicken had a nice crunch and had a mild spice with a nice sweetness to it

I’ve been there 3 times now and they haven’t disappointed me yet. The chicken is always juicy and tender and exploding with flavor. Definitely get 5 stars. I highly recommend the Galbi Q chicken!!

People should stop complaining on the wait because it is made fresh. This chicken place is now my favorite place to eat. Would come back here again. Delicious spicy secret sauce is my favorite. Chicken is juicy and delicious.

Delicious Korean fried chicken. The menu is limited but the flavors are delicious. Fresh, crunchy and relatively cheap. Will be back for sure.

I love the chicken sold here. Variety of choices, all of them good, and always has me looking forward to the next time I might order from them again. Definitely recommend it!!

Let me be honest here…the only time I got teary eyed from chicken was when I was in South Korea and this place brought me back to that moment.
