I love this shop! The employees are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The products are high-quality, and most are gluten-free. I love that I can get some hard-to-find products like tamarind paste, Aleppo pepper, and black cumin here.

Absolutely love this store. The tea, soups, condiments, everything is fantastic. You can find spices that are hard to find, they’ll have samples of items used from the store. The employees are so friendly and always there for any questions you have. Support this store

This is my favorite store at Alderwood mall! The staff are amazing and the spices are wonderful. The prices are comparable to any local grocery store if not better and the quality of spices, blends and knowledge of the products is much better! Plus you can try anything before you buy it. Such a fun shop for any cooking enthusiast!

If you want quality spices, this is the place. You can taste the difference. They have an amazing selection. Plenty of books to give great ideas on how to best use them. Lots of spice accessories too. When you run out you can bring back their jars for a refill which helps with waste. If you have your own jars, you can get the spices in pouches. It's really close to a kitchen store so you can get the things you need to cook with the spices if you don't have them already. Just try not to quote lines from Dune while you shop. If you understood that reference you are my kind of people.

These people genuinely want to help you find what you need. I know nothing about spices yet Jacob was able to help me find an amazing present and helped keep me within my budget. Been going here for years and they have always been high quality.

What a fun and unique collection of sweet and savory spices, garnishes, toppings, flavors, cookbooks, etc. I love supporting local as well. I believe it's two sisters who own this shop. Wonderful and kind people!

I love this shop! The spices are awesome the staff are amazing! I was trying to pick out a gift set but my 5 year old was being a kid, one of the staff offered to take him outside and run around while I made my choices. I purchased almost $100 dollars worth of gifts. Also the pike place protein rub is the best!

The staff is friendly and super knowledgeable. You can come in with ideas of what you want to do and they can point you in the direction of what spices they recommend. They have premixed rubs and all the spices to make your own. Super good quality spices as well. I made a rub using the bourbon barrel smoked sugar they have. Sooooooo good.

An absolutely wonderful spice shop, and they also carry select (and some seasonal) cooking tools, cookbooks, and specialty ingredients! Spices and ingredients are always fresh and full of flavor, and they're often happy to give you a taste! Alisa (the owner) and the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable with great recommendations. It's always a treat to drop by :)

Fun place. Helpful staff. They offer a free small bottle of spices for every $25 spent so that paired with a free small birthday spice we got tons of new spices. Also all their spices are gluten free so that's an added win. They have teas as well as some other things like popcorn and honey. We also bought some mixed that have all the spices you need to make a dinner so you only need a few ingredients to finish making the meal. Excited to try some new recipes now!

I buy my spices here. I fail to utilize one of the most awesome functions of the store and that is refilling the container you have. The staff are always pleasant. The flavor selection is vast and it pretty much has all your cooking seasoning needs.

Jacob is an absolutely fantastic person to work and shop with while in store. Getting samples, recommendations and generally chatting while making decisions on what I want has been one of the best experiences in a shop that I can remember.

My favorite shop in the mall. I look forward to stopping by this store after running all my errands. They have small or big sizes. You can sample. You can bring your own container! As someone who loves cooking and gifting creative things, this is the perfect place. Check out their classes too. I haven't had a chance to join one yet because I live far away but they really look fun. The staff is incredibly helpful and know what they're doing. If you like cooking with flavor, this is your place!

All of the staff is super helpful, without being pushy. There's a huge selection of fresh, mouth-watering spices, and a decent selection of related goods as well (dip mixes, popcorn, hot sauces, rubs, and sauces).

Don't miss the Peruvian Chile Lime seasoning (yum), and the Mt. Rainier Hot Lava popcorn topper -- it's a delicious step up from standard (but still good) powdered cheddar toppers.

Some of the spices are a little expensive, but that can be the case at any specialty spice shop. We got a good deal on some sale items and the store clerk named Jacob was very friendly and helpful. He invited us to sample several blends, without pressuring us on anything. It felt like chatting with a friend. Excellent customer service experience!

We absolutely love this store and their employees. They are so friendly and knowledgeable it makes it a pleasure going to the mall. The selection they offer is quite large, recipe books, gift packs, its just a really neat store with genuinely nice people.

Like all the other reviewers I Love this store . Its the best selection of spices I have ever come across. I recently tried their online ordering , as it is a drive for me to get to this store. My order got sent to them to fill and ship. I called the store Wednesday to find out when it might ship or how long it takes , the woman I talked to was very helpful and let me know they normally send them out the first business day. I checked my mail and there it was. It was very fast service compared to other online ordering companies I have used. Even if i hadn't known when to expect it. They did also include items, which even being an online order made me feel like a valued customer.
