JAMES PERSE

James Perse used to be my ultimate favorite that I felt deserved the high price. It USED TO BE high quality, super comfy and timeless casual clothes for daily life & travel. BUT, I recently bought quite a bit of clothes from here and the quality has literally diminished EXPONENTIALLY from when I used to wear the brand years ago. The pants I bought are already coming apart just a few months later. I wash on gentle cycle, hang dry... yet, they have holes in them and just look OLD - and this is just a few months later. The shirts lose their shape after a few wears. Not sure why they'd cheapen their quality. The styles are the same, but the material and craftsmanship is simply NOT what it used to be. Very disappointing. Staff in the store is just OK too - they aren't knowledgable about the different styles or know where anything is and I had a few people helping me from time to time. Poor employee training and the product isn't worth the price anymore. It's a shame.
