Enjoyed a sunset meal on the heated patio. Wonderful food and service. I've been several times, and it's always top-notch. Garrett was our server the last few visits. He is awesome and accurate with his work. I had the seafood pasta for my main course and it was very delicious. Everyone loved their meals, and we can't wait to come back.

Fabulous lunch. Excellent clam chowder. Decent wine & beer selection. Reasonable prices. Great view. Inside the State Park. We had the daily fish lunch special which was Cortina sea bass with choice of 2 sides.

Only open from 11-3, a few days a week but such delicious food. Even their onion rings were amazing. Corn chowder in sourdough - so good. Green chili enchiladas - fantastic. One of Morro Bay's best.

The California chowder is the best! If you have never had it before you have to come here to get it. Outside dining is also a plus. The menu is great and the food just as great. The portions are very good. All desserts made on the premises. Have the boysenberry cobbler- you won’t be disappointed.

Got in after 70 mile bike ride, ordered a half half black and pinto beans with cheese and o onions followed by the California Chowder in a sourdougb bowl. Boy, a stuffed hapoy cyclist left the cafe, great service and price quality ratio

I am so happy that we found this place, I was with 4 teenagers and we all had a good time. The steamers, crab cakes, salmon are delicious and everything else is great. Sabah our waitress was kind, patient and efficient. The location is beautiful. We will come back. Thank you.

We love to take our RV to the bay parking lot here. A highlight of the experience is lunch at the Bayside Cafe. Friendly service, interesting specials, and some great vegetarian selections. The Cobb Salad is as good as it gets, fresh with an absolutely beautiful presentation. Portions are generous and service is prompt. Even when it is busy, the wait for food is only 15 minutes. Grab a couple lawn chairs and you can eat right on the water or overlooking the colorful marina. The fish in the fish and chips is not as flavorful as we prefer, but there are plenty of other options.

Has been quite a few years since my last visit. They have wonderful food, not very big but they have patio seating. They are known for their clam chowder's which I had last time, my wife had it this time. Burgers are tasty and they have other good selections. Restrooms are towards back parking lot, close to golf course and State Park with RV campsites.

When staying at Morro Bay State Park this is the go-to restaurant in the harbor for dinner. Dog friendly as long as your dog behaves. Excellent food fresh and the service is the best.

Thus place was a pleasant find. Drive thru the state park and you end up there.

Good for sunsets, etc.
Outside dining or waterside.
Try the green chili soup itz 5 stars... add pepper for a small "bite". Yes u can taste the green chilies. Home made tuna sandwich is great.
Try 1/2 sandwich and soup, especially. on a Morro Bay cooling fall day.
Highly recommended. Try them u won't be disappointed! BONUS - Very reasonable too.

A little out of the way from morro bay center but way with it. Amazing shrimp and fish. My wife had the clam chowder in the most amazing sourdough bowl. The patio was great, a little chilly the day we went but they have plenty of heaters to keep you warm. Pet friendly as well.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our VRBO host. They were right, the clam chowder was delicious! Best we’ve had in the area by far. Would also recommend the fish tacos and nachos! Overall experience was excellent.

Get there early, before the kitchen runs out of the Lemon Caper sauce for your fish dish! We were pleasantly surprised to Diane on such a gourmet plate! Daytime view is nice but I bet the evening views are fabulous with the lights!

The people who work here were very nice to us and accommodated our dog. The food was very reasonably priced and portions were good. Make sure to get the amazing mud pie! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The California Chowder tasted so fresh and had just a lil zing right at the end of the bite. We tasted one of each tacos: tri tip, pork Chile Verde, chicken, and fish. Each one came with its own unique flavor and you can't beat the size. A sweet and a tangy salsa was also served with the plates to finish off each Taco. Enjoyed the beach side ambiance as well as the interior of the Cafe. This place is a must see if in Morro Bay or if visiting near by.

This place was amazing. Killer service and excellent food. Definitely try the Spicy Green Chili soup and/or California Clam Chowder. The fish and chips were the best I've ever had. Get there early! Line as soon as they open.

We had the green chili soup in bread bowl, fries, clam chowder and shrimp & avocado Caesar salad. Everything was good portions and very tasty. Would def recommend for view and soups. Coming back to try more items.

Best fish and chips I've ever had. Everything is fresh caught and tasty. Highly recommend the wet fish burrito, which is only available on Tuesdays (I believe, will have to double check if they even still have it).

Atmosphere was beautiful so close to the small harbor. Employees were friendly & helpful. Food was fantastic!
