The place was nice, it was super clean, very handy, the other campers were super nice as well. It was kind of windy and did get cold at night, not really surprising I suppose lol.
I also should mention that the park rangers were super nice and helpful.
I will definitely be going back, and I would recommend this place to anyone.

Pretty good camping. Great beach access. Not really any views from the campsites, as you can see the bushes are in the way.
Bathrooms, no showers.

This campground has perfect views of Morro Rock and perfect beach access. Went the first weekend of December. The weather was perfect during the day, nice and sunny and about 50 degrees once the sun went down. We were lucky to find a campsite a few days before going. We were at campsite “C”. Right by the restrooms and access to the beach. Perfect!! The site had a good enough space to pitch a tent and sit around the fire pit at night. Although we had a roof top tent. There’s about 80 campsites. Some for tenters and some for RV’s with and without hookup. We walked along the beach to Morro Bay State Park which was about 4 miles back and forth. The only downside is that they don’t have showers but you can go to Morro Bay State campground and shower there for free. Will definitely come back here!!

Awesome location, unusual to find full hookups so close to the ocean. No dogs allowed on the beach here but there are two within walking distance to the North and South. @CaptainTheDoberman especially liked the access trail from the west side of Cloisters Park to Morro Rock.

Stayed for only one night, wish it was longer. Ranger let us check in early, which worked out great. Fun walking the beach, and amazing evening/morning views. 27' trailer fit perfect on a level paved spot. All hookups worked great, even had wifi. Great stay.

Excellent campground with stunning views on the beach.
The first 3 rows run parallel to the beach, most are only 25'. The exceptions are spaces A, B, C, and D which 40'. The only spaces with hookups are in row 4 and are at 45° angle to the beach. No dumpstation. You need to go to Morro Bay State Beach Campground to dump.

Great camping on the beach. Dog beach only about 1/4 mile north, easy to get to on surface street. Nice place for the dogs to run! View out our window from a no hookup spot. Hook ups are across from us on the east side of camp.

Beautiful location with spectacular views of the water and Morro Rock. Only steps from the ocean, a short walk to stores and restaurants across route 1, and less than 10min drive from the Embarcadero and downtown Morro Bay. In January the campground and adjacent beach were quite peaceful. Hosts and staff were friendly and took good care of the property. Only complaint is that the sites are very compact, though this allows more site availability. Will definitely be returning here soon. *Seagulls will steal your pizza if you’re not careful*

Right on the ocean with several spots having views from your rv. Anything over 24 ft will not fit in most spots although I see large motorhomes there sometimes using and paying for two camping spots. The electrical spots may be larger for longer motorhomes, but I've never found an electric spot available when making reservations.

No shower but you can do it near the campground.
Very close to the beach.
Weather: cloudy and moisture in the morning.
Little buddy keeps trying to steal your food.
Beautiful view.

Beautiful area, plenty of free parking. Cute downtown next the harbor. Great hiking trails around the estuary and up into the hills. Great camping at state campgrounds.

Awesome camping spot! The Rangers were super friendly and helpful. Access to the beach and trails that take you into town (walking/running/cycling). Bathrooms are in good shape, but bring soap and a towel with you, the bathroom only provides toilets, sinks, and mirrors. There are spots with hookups and spots without hookups, and since we didn't need hookups we snagged an awesome site- #39. If you don't need hookups the odd-numberd sites (1-45) are best because they are right along the dunes with plenty of vegetation and clear views of Morro Rock and the Pacific Ocean. They've got a camp host too so you can get firewood right there. Beware- it tends to get super windy in the afternoons (we were there in June) so make sure your site is secure if you plan to leave! Happy camping!

Clean and respectable camping. Never had a problem camping here and you can't beat the location. The only thing they lack are showers. Otherwise awesome!!

Ahhhh-mazing! Spent 4 days here in April 2018 and loved every minute. Campsite right next to the ocean was perfect. The campground was busy but not crazy loud. The hosts and rangers were helpful and polite. Even the bathrooms were in decent condition.

Amazing campground with full hookups right on the beach! We came in without a reservation after the office was already closed and they left a note at the entrance which spots are available and we paid via $ in an envelope.
Full hookups sites are large (up to 40ft rig) for $50 a nightbut
Dry camping sites are much smaller (up to 24ft rig) with a few exceptions and cost $35.
They also charge $10 for an additional vehicle.
The sites are mostly leveled and have a picnic table.
Highly recommended.
