Morro Dunes RV Park

A bit tight for the sites, but easy enough for a 40 foot motor home. Beautiful beach area, though you may want to go to the bay side for any beach activities due to all the rocks on the ocean side. Easy walk to bay area shops and restaurants. Better prices off the bay for food and gifts.

Best campsite of our 4 nights along the PCH 🤩 Don't let 'RV' put you off if you're in a camper.
Super friendly welcome. The park looked packed when we got there but staff allocated us a great spot beside the showers and laundry room, which also then meant we weren't right next to any RVs. The park was quiet, safe, easily accessible, had a fantastic view, shop with necessities, showers, laundry, hook-up, and within walking distance of the town via the wee foot bridge....
Very reasonable price for what you're getting. Would have loved to have stayed longer. Definitely no issues in recommending this RV park for a camper.

Very close to the beach, clean, great space between lots. Just be aware that they lock the gates at 8pm! I got locked out after taking Sunset photos on the beach. Wildlife is abundant, and views are spectacular! Easy walk to restaurants and stores where a lot more sights can be seen. Will definitely return!

I have never stayed at an RV park before. I really enjoyed the Morro Dunes RV Park. It suited my needs perfectly. My visit was a short two night stay. My site had full hookup service. There are a variety of options and space sizes. The park has restrooms with showers at no additional cost. It was kept very clean, and visitors were respectful. The ocean was right across the road. It is within walking distance shopping and wonderful places to enjoy delicious seafood. I will definitely visit again.

The park is older, tight and not many amenities but I give a full 5 stars why? The location is stunning. Steps from the beach. The staff is very friendly. The price is hard to beat. There are full hookups. Lastly well maintained. The 20 years I have been coming here they always rake and prepare each site before you check in. This is one of my most favorite parks still after all these years.

Right at the beach! From some campgrounds you can see morto rock! Very friendly! Nice walks on the beach!

I really enjoyed my stay here. Couldn’t beat the view I got from the door! Easy walk to the beach, nice walking paths for 4 legged friends. Plenty of relaxation. Multiple easy exits to the beach, closed at night for some privacy and safety. Clean and well taken care of. Staff was very friendly upon arrival. I will be making this a normal place to visit!

The staff here are fantastic. Great service attitude. The whole park was impressive clean and in a fabulous location. All the restrooms, laundry services, sites, and even the dog park area were all very well maintained. We can't wait to go back here!

Nice and clean campground. Very popular and located right next the beach. There are full of beautiful sand dollars and shells on the beach. Enjoy the view of the Morro Rock surrounded with cloud in the morning.

Love staying here staff are great and very helpful. Sites are a little small but that's OK you have fences on both side of you beautiful view beache and sunset and rise right across the street wonderful dog park for the dogs to go to the bathroom. Town is in walking distance Moral Rock is right in front of you. I spent the last couple of years staying there for at difficult times during the year and hope to be able to stay there again this year.

Super nice staff. Incredibly clean, well- maintained spots. Park is well cared for and quite a few folks meet from different states to spend time together for at least a month, and have done so for many years! Excellent beach access and super quick trip into Morro Bay for restaurants, shopping, gas, and groceries.

Great and organized park! There was a small general store at the office with a few essentials such as sun glasses & outdoor gear, also small parts for RV maintenance and hoses.

The park has multiple laundry rooms and nice, clean bathrooms and showers. There is very easy access to the beach and view of the Morro rock. If you walk just a few minutes outside the park there's a walking path to the restaurants to the south of the beach, about 15-20 min walk away.

We really enjoyed a nice Friday night here, saw seals and otters south of Morro rock, and a beautiful sunset (in early November). We wish we had stayed here longer!

We love this place. Such a great stay. Perfect location to walk/bike to all the restaurants and shops on the harbor.

First time checking this place out. Has hookups, bathroom facilities, picnic tables and fire pits at each spot. Right next to the Morro Bay Dunes with beach access. There is also a little convenient store on-site. Short walk to the restaurants and shops. Great place to camp!

Love this place. Right next to the beach and next to the Morro Bay Rock. If you bring bicycles you can easily ride to town in about 10 minutes.
They have plenty of RV and tent spaces. But some of the spaces can be pretty small. We always tent camp and have always enjoyed the area.

Nice, clean and right across the street from the ocean and beach. Spaced pretty close to each other though.

If you plan to visit here in the summer, make reservations a year in advance... seriously. There is a statewide heat emergency in California in August 2020, but it is 75 degrees in Morro Bay.

This is one of our absolute favorite places to take our Travel trailer! The staff has always been pleasant to deal with, the grounds are always clean, the rates are fantastic, and the environment is always relaxing. There is a good size gated dog run for those who travel with your dogs. The location is perfect, you are right across the street from the beach. One of the best places to stay on the central coast!
