Lil Hut

Same as Harbor Hut... you can't go wrong with whatever you order. The difference being you are not waited on, but simply self-seated in the open air.
The food is outstanding and the atmosphere is what you make it.

Always fabulous… First place I ever had fish and chips when I was little and I have tried so many different places… It remains true to my heart that the food is undeniably sensational and my go to every time at the coast . 🌊🦀🐙🐳🏖⛴🏄🐚🪸🦈🐡

Wanted to try this place during my stay so my wife and I ordered the fish & chips with the clam chowder bread bowl. The fish tasted so fresh and fried perfectly. The chips (fries) were so good they were good when they turned cold after taking the left overs to go. The clam chowder was pretty tasty, a little different recipe then normal but a nice difference. The bread bowl was amazing. I would definitely visit again.

Came here after a day of fishing for cod, got the clam chowder in a bread bowl and some of their salt water taffy. Was pretty good, the clam chowder had A LOT of celery, even another buddy was commenting about it but it was still good.
Came out fairly quick also and they had a nice seating area towards the water,
Prices weren't too bad either.

The very best chowder bread bowl!!! My son and husband got cheeseburgers and fries and that was also so dang delicious!!!! Good price too 👌🏼👌🏼

The fish and chips are top notch. The Lil Hut is a super cool place for a quick bite and their employees are friendly and quick. Their seating area behind the pick up window allows for awesome views of the bay and boats. Whenever in the area, I'm sure to be a customer. There is plenty of parking as well.

Another amazing meal had here at the Lil Hut. Like I mentioned above in my original post, I will ALWAYS be a customer here when I'm in the area. Their special was awesome: fish & chips, clam chowder and garlic toast. $17 at the time of posting, delicious and well worth it.

Perfect place for a quick lunch after going to Morro Bay. Service was fast and food was good. We got fish and fries and fish tacos. The 2 fish tacos were super filling with some veggies and good tortillas.
They have a couple of tables by the harbor, with shade, which was perfect!

Always on the short list of places to go for some good food when we visit from the Central Valley. Reasonably priced fish and chips and clam chowder. Helpful staff to get whatever else you need for your meal. Some outdoor seating available.

There are ALOT of fish n chips in Morro Bay, but here you will find the BEST!
This walk up window is TRULY the heart and SOUL of the STACKS! NO SHOES? NO SHIRT? NO PROBLEM :)

Excellent food at the pier, and at a reasonable price. We ordered fish and chip special with clam chowder and also a hotdog. All were great, and the hotdog buns came toasted.

Food was great as always, we come here all the time we are in Morro Bay! Clam chowder excellent, fish and chips very great! Highly recommend it!

Great food! Waited only like 10 min. Fresh fish and chowder! Will be back as I have for over a decade.

Very good fresh fish. Fish and chips are the best. Clam chowder, chicken strips, chicken burger also the best. Very good service I highly recommend eating at this restaurant.

The food from this little takeout hut is really tasty. Try the veggie burger and don't miss out on the clam chowder of course. They charge a couple of bucks extra for toppings, so I wouldn't get any. I found that it mitigates the taste of the soup.

Best chicken marsala I've had in a long time 😃 My friends had the seafood salad and also the scallop and shrimp dinner, both delicious and beautifully plated. Loved the warm bread with garlic butter they put on the table before your meal! Pet friendly. Nice view.
