Blossoms and Botanicals

Gorgeous and stunning flowers. We had previously been using an "Old School" Florist in San Mateo for years. I was sick of the service and snobby attitude. Looked for something else and found Blossoms and Botanicals!
So glad that I did. I picked a unique arrangement and it was STUNNING!!!! I live across the country and even the photos my MIL took with her Iphone showed how incredible it was. Will definitely order again.

I ordered online and had something very specific in mind for a photo shoot and they delivered exactly what I wanted! They were able to interpret my rambling email and produce a really beautiful piece that I had envisioned in my head.

The only thing I wish had been different was a notification that the order was ready to be picked up, I just showed up at the end of the day and hoped it was ready!!

The work Regina and her staff did for our wedding left me in awe, especially since we had to scrap our arch design and pivot to pieces onto wine barrels due to the unexpected weather. From beginning to end, Regina understood my vision and beyond delivered! I loved and valued her in-depth knowledge about florals--what works and what didn't work, availability of in-season florals, etc. I also seriously cannot thank Regina enough for her adaptability when the stress was on a unparalleled high having to rework some major planning of our wedding because of the weather. Seeing photos of the gorgeous pieces she created continues to bring me as much joy as when I first saw them on our wedding day. I literally wish I were able to keep the center pieces and bouquets forever.

Best flower shop. I visit at least once a week to get flowrs by stem. Lots of options to pick from by stems and they also have their bouquets / vases in good prices prearranged to pick up right away. My husband got the propose flower for me which was awesome as well.

Needed a special floral arrangement same day, and they were able to accommodate and deliver seamlessly! The flowers looked exactly like the photo and it was definitely high quality. Will definitely order from them again!

Alex from Blossoms was amazing and helped me with exactly what I needed. A couple months ago, I was looking for a beautiful display of flowers to surprise my girlfriend with for our anniversary.

I was working near Blossoms, so I decided to walk in. I went in with very little knowledge of how to pick out the right combination of flowers that would result in an aesthetically pleasing result. But I gave Alex some very general details of what I was looking for, and he delivered.

The customer service I received was warm, friendly, and timely. I was blown away by how pretty the bouquet of flowers they made for me was. And most importantly - my girlfriend loved them.

Regina helped me decorate the boat for my proposal. We all love her flower design and the proposal went well. She is very friendly and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Forget FTD and 1-800 Flowers. They take your order and low-ball a local florist to assemble it and deliver it. The difference is their profit. Deal directly with a local outfit like Blossoms, who will answer the phone in person when you call. I asked for a "custom bouquet" in red and white, gave the price ($100 in this case), and let them do the rest. My wife was very happy with it. To save some money, get the bouquet without a vase and put the flowers in your own vase, following the directions sent with the bouquet.

I recently ordered bouquets from Blossoms and Botanicals for my wedding in San Mateo. I had the most PLEASANT experience with everyone at this company from start to finish!! I had no idea how easy it would be to place my bridal bouquet order, I emailed the owner Regina and she was very quick to respond and was very flexible with my request. They also delivered my bridal bouquet with a very reasonable delivery fee. I can't say enough how much I appreciate their efficient, courteous, and expedient service. Not to mention that the flower arrangements were absolutely beautiful! I would definitely go back to them for any floral needs I have in the future!

I saw these beautiful pumpkin vines and I decided to make the arrangement for my dining table. The staff helped me pick out and taught me couple tips and tricks!

It's been my favorite flower shop for 20 years at least. It's changed owners but it's still an amazing store if you like unique flowers and beautiful bouquets it's perfect. And I enjoyed the light atmosphere in the friendly service always so kind and I love the soaps and all the little gifts. And I love the fact that they have a crystal collection that's just amazing if you want a quick gifts a great place to drop in!

I have ordered from Blossoms and Botanicals about 4 times in the last year, but for the most part grew up going to them for graduation leis and corsages. Every time I have the best experience and have not been disappointed. The designer's choice bouquets they put together are so stunning. They've accommodated requests for the bouquets as well. Their delivery is prompt and I've never had an issue when sending them to someone. Their website is also very easy to manage when ordering for other people even now that I'm out of state. I never(!!) write reviews, but I'm just so happy with their service that I want others looking for a florist in San Mateo to use them!
