Love this place for studying or buying books Great vibes and area. Parking is super easy and conveniently close to the mall.

The Barnes & Noble at Hillsdale Shopping Center is certainly one of my favorite locations. The two floors and large atrium gives the store a welcoming and spacious feeling. The sections are well laid out and do not feel cramped. There are wooden chairs scattered around the store for you to sit and peruse a book. The staff is also super friendly and always checking up on you or ready to help if needed.

I haven’t been at Barnes & Noble for years. Usually, they sell a lot of books. I decided to go to this location since it’s close to Hillsdale Shopping Center, which is the mall I intended to go today.

I’m quite surprised that this building contains two stories, because the last time I went from a different location, it only has one. I also like how they have so much manga in a bookstore, and there are ones from the anime I watch. I also have been looking for books that are related to computer science, but there’s none I see. I only saw Python books from the children’s area, which is quite strange because coding is very difficult for most kids.

Very good place to go to! However, I would rather stick to a location that’s close to where I live.

Good place to chill down on weekends.
There are lots of Manga.

I walked in, found some books, and then couldn't find one book but all I knew about was vague enough descriptions I couldn't Google.

A team member helped me find the book in a few minutes and offered to order it to the store because it wasn't typically sticked. Pretty cool.

one of my favorite stores to go to, I also get coffee there! but I think Starbucks inside the store do not accept the membership, but they do have some deals for buying books

What a wonderful place to buy a book. Full of color and wonder.
Two story’s filled with a million stories for and one who loves to read or just look at illustrations.
My kids absolutely loved the store. As good as a trip to the zoo, or and amusement park !

Unlike Ashkat's negative review (Feb 2022), I have a very positive view of the customer service here. This store is a wonder land for kids and has a nice cafe for the adults too.

The store also has a surprisingly deep offering of toys, cards, a big magazine section, gifts & Legos. See photo...

Ashkat mentions the store being "commericalized" but maybe he forgets we live in capitalism, not a fault of B&N, & I don't see Bezos, the major book competition, offering places for people to congregate & read ...look at this photo of their kids reading stage....hey Ashkat is Amazon providing anything like this? Why don't you please criticize his customer service? Oh that's right they don't even have such a thing!

Anyway, I hope everyone else remembers that the best we can do in the current system is to seek the least "corporate" or commercialized store possible and that always supporting the cheapest will only lead to the continued disappearance of kid or family or people friendly places like this Barnes and Noble location. Please visit, enjoy and support.

Huge selection of books. Dozen of bookshelves with space exploration books. Nice and cosy cafe with tadty coffee and snacks. Very big books for kids and toys department. Love it.

First time visiting and won't be the last. Bought 2 books. I should've visited sooner. Huge and nice place to chill.

Clean and great bookstore. It was nice they have a great STEM variety of kids toys too. Wanted to get a birthday gift that was educational and I appreciated the selection. (Fyi Harry Potter fans, they have a dedicated wall for you too).

My favorite B&N in the area :) Lots of space and books to choose from. All of the staff is extremely helpful and nice :)

A great bookstore! Can walk around and look at the books for hours, it’s so relaxing and organized. Starbucks inside is also great.

Quiet place to browse books. Always have what I'm looking for. Clean pleasant atmosphere.

Loved barnes and nobles. Amazing service and workers are so helpful. However I bough todo two books for the buy1 get 1 50% and the employee didn’t give me the discount so I had to go back. Please let employees know to check the books first.

Went to the café. Lovely staff. Great young woman named Molly works and the café and made me a delicious refresher and grilled cheese. I appreciate the wide variety of food options available.

A perfect place to read a book, let you toddler play and grab a Starbucks coffee. Perfect place for a mom to have a good time for her kid and herself.

2 stories - wide collection of new books, classics, magazines, Manga, toys and a kids section on the second floor. Wish they had more seats for folks to stay and flip through some books.
