Stanford Oval

Been on a bright Sunday winter day - the church is beautifully decorated and the throes of students with family relishing the moments in walking the grounds of one the top academic institutions is amazing!

Here, you can witness the rare spectacle of future tech moguls and Nobel laureates speed-walking to class, all while trying to dodge the ever-enthusiastic campus squirrels. It’s the perfect spot to soak in the ‘Stanford spirit’—just be sure to dodge the occasional Frisbee or philosophical debate that might come flying your way!

A very Beautiful place for a visit .. does not look like a school.. It seems like a Resort .. Lovely Educational place for any study ..One would Love to Study in such serene atmosphere and place 👌👌♥I loved it and would have loved to study here ❤😊

Absolutely stunning campus with a lot of history. The courtyards, gardens and architecture are amazing. The church was awe-inspiring, with beautiful paintings, furniture and a very large organ!

One of my favorite spots on Stanford Campus, you get the best view of Palm Drive, The Main Quad, the Hoover Tower, and of course, the Oval! We went there after dinner for a light walk between Oval and the Memorial Church! How nice the sky was still pretty bright after 20:30, with a cool temperature of 80F on a hot summer day! Cheers!

Iconic place that I take visitors from out of state/country to visit. Open space, nice view. Parking is enforced so be careful if you don't want ticket or towed.

My daughter and I visited the palace 20 years ago.
She finished her postdoctoral fellow at Stanford this year.
My granddaughter, her mom, and I visited the palace together at this time.
I wish I could have repeated the dream again.

The campus of Stanford University is superb. All the buildings have a strong sense of history. Any garden or large lawn is very elegantly dotted around the campus, bringing out the tranquility of the campus.

A beautiful place to sit and enjoy life. Read, bring your dogs, bring friends. A really good place for all times of day. The shade is pretty competitive though on hot weekends.

Gorgeous public space! Perfect for all seasons. Clean safe and accessible. I oftentimes noticed families and friends who would come picnic here. It's also great for people watch...and just chillin out with a book. Highly recommend!

A first after 8 years in California. The greenest campus ever. It's like in a movie with a beautiful architecture. A debate in the car was on the renting outside or inside the campus which must be a very tricky question for upcoming students.

It's nice that the parking lot is open on the weekends. It is a peaceful outdoor space that is good for outings with babies.

It was an experience being on the university campus much more to explore but a great area to go on a beautiful day to begin exploring Stanford a picture of the tower you can also see from the top of the oval

I love talking a walk in Stanford. So peaceful and beautiful. Pretty quiet on weekend mornings. And some coffee shops are open now!
