Excellent burger with a unique flavor that makes it all its own. The chili and jalapeno relish were a perfect pairing on a made to order burger. The fries were delicious. The malt made for an excellent appetizer. The food looked and was presented in a delightful ambience. Our Radical Rebounding Tour was happy to bounce into this spot.

We went to Palo Alto Creamery for dinner tonight. It's a classic diner, and we were not disappointed with the food quality and excellent service crew. We ordered cheeseburgers with hand-cut fries, and they were served perfectly with a lightly toasted bun and deliciously grilled meat. The onion rings and french fries were hot, crispy on the outside, and just right on the inside. Moreover, the service was fast and very friendly. Our server and other staff members checked in on us frequently and made sure we were well taken care of. We didn't have room for dessert, but they had an impressive selection of homemade cakes and cookies that looked fantastic. Overall, we had an excellent experience and we will definitely be back. Thank you!

We tried Palo Also Creamery for the first time a couple of days ago. It is a classic, period diner in one of Palo Alto's shopping districts, so parking can be a challenge, but it is worth it. We were a little apprehensive that it would be noisy, but it wasn't. The high ceilings probably help. We ordered sandwiches, roast beef, turkey club, and a Ruben. All were served to perfection with lightly toasted bread of our choosing and PLENTY of meet! The onion rings, french fries, and sweet potato fired were all hot and cooked crispy on the outside and just right on the inside. There was a lot of food! What's more, the service was not only fast, but very friendly. We felt well taken care of not only by our server, but other staff who did not hesitate to check in on us and help us with any trifle we needed. Honestly, this was some of the best service staff we've encountered in years! We didn't have room for desert, but they had an impressive selection of homemade cakes and pies that looked scrumptious! All in all, an A+ experience. We will be back!

Loved our experience! When looking for a sweet treat found this gem. Went inside wasn’t expecting it to be a cute diner. The milkshakes and floats are scrumptious and the French toast is a must have. Can get a little pricey…but if you share food often then it is the perfect place any time of day!

Delicious chocolate pecan pie, coffee cake muffins, and corned beef hash. The apple pie was a little too sweet for my taste. Fun atmosphere, it's like an old fashioned diner.

Great spot for breakfast! Such a gem near university ave. The portion is a bit small for its price. We ordered burger, Hawaii French toast and sausage breakfast. The French toast is great! I wish they put the syrup on the side, so it won’t be too sweet and soggy in the end. But overall it’s a great brunch. We sat outside with heat lamp. Host sat us down after our parties were all arrived. Very accommodating and helpful. Interior deco is very cute with retro style. Will recommend to sit inside if you have no dog. Good found! Highly recommended!

Love the blueberry pie 🥧 it’s epic not to sweet and tons of blueberries. If you did not have one must try. And apps if you are ever into milk shakes try a molt shake with a raw egg is amazing 🤩

Cute spot in Palo Alto located in the bustling downtown area. Food was delicious and the service was equally pleasant. A variety of home cooked meals and deserts. Definitely would recommend.

This place is unique, you have your own bakery inside, so you eat fresh bread and desserts, it is a unique experience, the outdoor area is beautiful, the service is fast and very pleasant. The food is very good, I arrive at the table on time, they are very professional, they have to come to try their feet, they are incredible. So if you are in palo alto, take a walk here, you will like it, it is guaranteed.

I have been going to this place from 5-6 years now. Very vibrant retro place. This place was founded in 1923 and don’t forget to go through the historical theme inside the store. Pandemic caused them to expand to outdoors. Now they have both indoor and outdoor space. More the merrier. They have awesome and freshest breads, juices and variety of milkshakes. Great options for sandwiches, burgers and breakfast items. Their toast portions are huge, it makes sense to share that between two people. Rye bread is my favorite. Veggie burger is out of the world with delicious patty and super fluffy house burger buns. Their French toast is one delicious “not so sweet” treat with toasted coconut flakes. Person who greets you at the restaurant is very welcoming and enthusiastic. Place is dog friendly. Plenty free parking at streets and nearby parking garages. Free parking at weekend. 2-3 hour free parking during weekdays 8-5. I keep going to this brunch place frequently at different times of the day.

What a diner 😎
I love it here 👍🙏
You should absolutely not eat here everyday as the food is of the heavy kind. But, I truly recommend to go here because the food is fantastic. It is fresh and tasteful.
The service is good and if you ask polarity they will tell a bad joke 😁🤣🤔
Thanks 🙏

**Dessert rating is based upon dessert!
Dessert: 5/5
Service: 4/5
Ambiance: 4/5
Overall: I make special drives to from SF for this place.

The extended review...

Dessert:

Chocolate bread pudding - 5/5 - THIS IS A MUST!!!! First I have to say that I never eat bread pudding but this is the exception to the rule. It doesn’t taste like bread pudding. It reminds me of a flourless chocolate cake. You won’t be disappointed.

Service: 4/5 - Standard service depending on who you get.

Ambiance: 4/5 - A cool diner in the middle of Palo Alto.

Really nice old school interior. Their milkshakes are huge (and pricey) and you can customise them a lot, served in huge metal cup. Desserts that we got - banana cream pie and cherry pie - both were too sweet, it’s better to got them with black coffee

Food is always good here. How many restaurants bake their own hamburger buns? Everything is made to order with the best quality ingredients

Was looking around on Google for a nice steakhouse in Palo Alto and was looking at the prospect of going to one of the fancy establishments and forking out $60+ for just a steak (sides are extra). I then just searched “steak” and up popped Palo Alto Creamery. Loved the menu and pics online and decided to pay it a visit. I’m so glad I did, the steak was magnificent and the service from Victor and the rest of the staff was exceptional! Well worth a visit and I’ll definitely be back!

This is one of my favorite breakfast places ever. The food is delicious, their desserts are to die for, the diner looks so awesome and their shirts are so cool I had to get a few.
