We have taken our cars for smog certifications to Ray for several years. He is always friendly and gets us in and out as quickly as possible. I typically make an appointment so he knows to expect us.

This place is a great option for a test-only smog shop. I suggest calling ahead to get an appointment; I've always had good luck getting in the same day. The place is operated by a really nice, trustworthy guy. There is a small waiting room with comfortable seating where you can catch up on a few emails while he tests your car. It will be done in 10-20 minutes. Bring your DMV bill to ease the process.

Am a repeat customer thanks to the owner's very reliable, professional, prompt, and helpful service. He sent the test results to DMV electronically and clearly explained what I need to provide the DMV, either via mail or electronically. A genuinely kind and polite person, even a bit philosophical in conversation. A true gentleman. Carefully guided me as I backed out into the street after the test as well. Five stars are not enough!

Bare bones but friendly and fast. If you are expecting luxury while you wait, keep driving and pay more. The wait area is cold and musty but there is an old TV and bathroom. Make an appointment, show up on time or early and you will be on your way in 30 minutes. This was my 3rd time here and the owner is a great guy if you treat him with respect.

In and out service. Very reliable. Has been using their service over 6 years. You do not have to pay second time if you fail test at first time. Ray offer free recheck.

Great service. Called in the morning and they were able to fit me right in. Ray was there waiting and was done in 20 min. Would definitely recommend!

I have an oversized van that wouldn’t fit in the garage door at the smog station near my house, so they referred me to Smog Expess. I showed up with no appointment on a Saturday afternoon and was finished within 25 minutes. The operator was polite and helpful too.

I've had my car smog checked here twice and both times had excellent service! Called ahead to find out when the best time to bring my car, brought the car in at the convenient time for both of us, and smog check completed shortly after. Definitely recommend!

The work was done immediately. I waited in the waiting room and read the different magazines and helped myself to hot coffee.
I signed the paperwork, paid my bill, and the paperwork was sent to DMV on my behalf.

Very good service, quick and courteous. They even have a waiting room. Would not hesitate taking the car back there for a test.
