Santa Cruz Coffee Roasting

Cool coffeeshop in downtown Santa Cruz. Great spot surrounded by shops and restaurants. Decent hardwood on metal seating, not comfy for long stays, but typical café decor for today. A few nooks to tuck away into to read, write or chat, but you may have to find a spot as it's typically a fairly popular place to do so. Deliciously flavored coffees!! Their syrups are always unique, seasonal and super tasty! Definitely recommend trying one. One of my fav coffeeshops for downtown SC :)

I was just in Santa Cruz for a short visit and discovered this place. I was so impressed by how good the coffee was. It was better than coffee I have had in Italy and France. The staff were really friendly. I was happy to see that I can order their coffee online. I highly recommend

Wonderful coffee made to order. It was great that they took cleanliness, social distancing and mask wearing seriously. We enjoyed great bagles and the wonderful atmosphere, while being pampered by excellent customer service!

Ordered a Yirgacheffe...... They really know coffee. It's the real deal. A lot of places claim to have a certain coffee such as Blue Mountain or Kona but they are blended with arabica. They don't taste like the real deal.

A real coffee. Nothing fancy, might have to wait a minute but it's worth the wait. I have high standards for a solid cup of coffee and this place is great.

I stop by nearly every other day on my lunch break for a latte. The coffee is great, the baristas are quick, and all of their staff are so incredibly kind.

Great atmosphere and wonderful coffee. Got (2) cold brews and an ice Carmel latte. Great cold and will come again. Side note… serves hot AND cold coffee in paper cups with paper lids! Very sustainable and no issues drinking cold coffee in their sustainable paper cups!

It's the last of the old coffee shops in downtown Santa Cruz. Hooray! beautiful art on the walls. lots of great locally roasted coffee.

Great coffee place if you're visiting Santa Cruz and happen to be on Pacific Avenue.
Would suggest getting one of their espresso drinks.

Fresh roasted beans from a variety of origins. Their standard coffee is a pour over for under 3 dollars a cup. Amazing quality and care for coffee in an unpretentious environment. I tried one of their Ethiopians and a Guatemalan. Both were a perfect roast level and brewed perfectly to fit the profile of the beans. I tried a sip of their cold brew and it seemed very solid as well. Overall I would rate this as one of the top 5 coffee shops I've ever been too.

Their Indian Malabar is the best coffee in the world. Brew it strong — it stays smooth, with no bitterness. Once you go Malabar, you've arrived.

For drip coffee, you can choose from around 20 different beans so that your coffee is always exactly the type you like. I got a dark roast drip coffee and it was very good. It was strong and not watery like you might find at many other coffee shops. I like strong coffee.

BlackBerry cold brew is absolutely delicious and a nice fun atmosphere. Great coffee and the staff was so pleasant to talk to

I love this place! They have a happy hour M-F 1-4pm where they have interesting drinks for $2. Their coffee is also some of the cheapest you can find! It's delicious and they have some AgroEco varieties which is a good charitable cause. Usually takes about 5 minutes after you put the order in for the pour-over coffee to be ready, if it's not too busy.
