Pacifica Vista Point - Sharp Park Road

So I’m from Arkansas. Well originally from Memphis but have lived in Arkansas for more of my life than Memphis. The only ocean I’ve ever seen is when we would go to the beach at like Gulf Shores. Yes, I’m sheltered and haven’t been a lot of places.

My oldest child got transferred with her job from Arkansas to SF a few years ago and I guess this will probably be her home unless she gets scalped by another corporation and they pay her 7 figures a year. Yes, obviously I’m a very proud Mom😆

Ok so my oldest child also has younger siblings. Like her youngest is 20 years younger than her so Mom doesn’t have the freedom to abandon ship and come visit. Like this was my first time to come see my child in her new hometown. I’ve also never been to SF. Lots of firsts this trip.

I’m also one of those ppl that gets deemed crazy plant lady. Well crazy tree and plant lady. I love anything to do with nature. I love the planet. I love taking care of it and nurturing it and learning about it. So you can imagine the car ride from the airport to her home over in the Sea Cliff area.

I’m sure it would have been a funny video to listen to if I had thought about doing that. All the trees and plants and as my daughter taught me the Superbloom. I’m literally in heaven surrounded by all of this natural beauty and sights.

The first place my daughter stopped, after we had eaten at In and Out of course, because I’ve always read or seen about that place but never experienced it, was this place to view the ocean and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect since the sun was setting.

The sights and smells were literally overwhelming to me as I tried to take it all in. I’ve never gotten to see anything like this and I don’t think that ppl who have been in SF their whole
Lives realize the treasures they have around them. Aside from the negative issues I read about that SF is dealing with, the nature part of this place is the closest thing to Heaven that I’ve experienced.

Great viewing area. Small parking lot. Usually a breeze here considering it’s up on the hill overlooking the ocean and city of Pacifica.

Great places to take panoramic pictures. Mainly at sunset.
