Very nice people! Super cute place! The BLA was really good and the choc chip cookie w/ sea salt was perfectly balanced.

Delicious, homey, and cute. Super friendly staff and quick service. The goat cheese and pluot scone was incredible!

Great for breakfast, brunch, or lunch to grab a quick bite 🥪

I got a Arnold Palmer in 16oz. It was pretty good, they didn't add to much ice like other places. The price was good at 3.25USD. In all I would recommend.

They know how to make a satisfying vegan sandwich! (5/5 green stars)
Café Delmarette has a nice cozy feel. There’s an outdoor seating section looking out onto Pacific Ave., and indoor seating with a few tables and a window counter. I had the vegan sandwich special (around $9, incl. tax). I was also tempted by the grilled cheese (cheaper at around $6) but I was glad I went for the vegan option. It was an open-faced sandwich with cilantro pesto, herb-roasted zucchini, avocado, and pea shoots. It was nicely seasoned and came with plenty of toppings and a side of Kettle chips. I could tell that the staff members were nice by the way they patiently dealt with a guy who wandered in with some flowers, looking for a container, and then tried to pinch a few flowers from a vase in the café!

I’m also giving Café Delmarette 5/5 “green stars” for social and environmental impact, based on these reasons:
• They make their own hemp and almond milk! They also stock soy, coconut and coconut-almond milk.
• Coffee from good local roasters: Verve, Sightglass, Cat and Cloud, Andytown, and Chromatic.
• The menu varies according to what's in season and they use organic ingredients when possible.
• Most of the menu is vegan or vegetarian and for meat they list sources (e.g., Niman Ranch bacon).
• They serve organic Tcho hot chocolate and homemade organic watermelon juice and lemonade.
• For breakfast you can have organic oatmeal, Strauss yoghurt and granola, or organic quinoa with almonds.

Cafe Delmarette is a downtown gem. Good coffee, tasty house made baked goods, sandwiches, salads, and soups. The relaxed, WiFi-free atmosphere is good for reading, conversing, and people-watching, just like the olden days before a plague of laptops descended on cafes everywhere.

Excellent service. First time here, i really liked it. Very professional and polite. I tried the matcha latte for the first time and it was delicious. They also sell food like soup and sandwiches that looked delicious. I will try one of those very soon. Located right next to Del mar theatre. No restrooms available and there is outside seating.

I got the colombian roast pour over which was really flavorful and delicious. My partner and I got 2 variations of the avocado toast and they were also really yummy! The service was quick, and you can tell they use good ingredients. It’s also a great price point! My only advice would be: check out the menu before heading in. They’re pretty steady/busy and the menu is large. Have an idea of what you’d like before going in, otherwise it’s a bit overwhelming.

Only had a scone and cappuccino but both were tasty and fairly priced. Nice, cozy patio out front. Ordered inside and employees brought out the order.

Very good quality food and drink. I love getting their sandwiches for breakfast and have been doing so for years now. Recently I have discovered that they also have the best scones in Santa Cruz, personal favorite is the cheddar and rosemary one.

Chill little spot with delicious breakfast and drink options. Able to get a nice-sized but not oversized breakfast. Cozy vibes, nice start to the day.

Just a little hole in the wall cafe, with a good selection of coffee, pastries and sandwiches. Outdoor tables to enjoy your food.

Lots of healthy choices here that are very delicious. It's a small Cafe so in order to produce such good food they need to charge more. My bowl of soup, slice of bread with avocado and absolutely yummy spices, dessert and coffee crossed approximately $18 with the tip. I had to order this much food in order to be full because their portions are very small. Except for the soup. Here a hearty bowl of soup is really a hearty bowl of soup and is very fairly priced. I highly recommend this place

Simply THE BEST! Smaller cozy spot right off the main downtown drag with exceptional food and coffee. The inside has a couple of table/booths and there is a few uncomfortable counter style bar stool thingys. Most folks sit outside which offers a lot but has at least two rickety chairs. The menu is subject to change but locally sourced soup, salad and sandwiches are always on. You have a rotating selection of coffee to chose from-verve and chromatic being two of the more common and awesome brands-and while they are not long on flavor shot options they do have some of the most consistently perfect latte/espresso/cappuccino's . Good verging on great coffee is not all that hard to find here, but this spot nails it every single time. Simply perfect. All baked goods are made in house every day, and yeah they are sweet crumbly goodness as well. There can be lines because of the perfect coffee and super tasty food, and it's not the cheapest spot in town for sure, but it's so totally worth it.

The Cafe Delmarette in downtown Santa Cruz on Pacific is a jewel among rocks. They offer up a simple, but good, menu with specials and one of the best cups of coffee in Santa Cruz. They only use quality ingredients. Most of the things you get here were sourced locally. A great hangout and place for lunch, I highly recommend stopping in.

I ordered a coffee and a strawberry scone. The scone was so light and fluffy and melt in your mouth while still being slightly crunchy on the outside. Really good. I don't drink coffee often so I can only say the coffee tastes like any other cup to me. barista was polite and nice.

I’ve lived here for a few years now and never considered it as a food option until I started working downtown and I’m in love. One, they’ve got a fantastic matcha latte (with extra matcha). Two, their Rita Sandwich is amazing. Toasted to perfection, doesn’t fall apart, all the ingredients go so well together, the flavor is there all the way through, the bread doesn’t cut my mouth, the avocado was ripe, I can keeping going but oh my gosh. Skip Zoccoli’s and skip the Sandwich spot, this is the place you wanna go to for the most satisfying sandwich downtown.
