Large and well stocked pet store. Also has a cat adoption center, a pet hospital, along with many pets to choose from, such as fish, guinea pigs, parakeets, and others. Decent sized parking lot and a friendly staff makes it easy to find any pet-related items.

18 plus years for Cat food=) My children always eat better than me...

Lots of different pet products. Food for cats, dogs, fish, etc.. Large assortment of goods and no queues.

One of my favorite place to go sometimes if I wanna see a cute pet, there's always a nice person working there and beautiful pets waiting to be adopted...!

Nice place. I got lots of snacks for my cats!😅 And they love it.

Very nice, clean, and neat place to purchase pet supplies and pets. The cashier was super nice and was s animal friendly.

First ever visit this month. Had a Delivery order for a few (13) items. As soon as I walk in- Perfectly greeted by the only clerk at the front at the moment while he was assisting addt'l customers. That's welcoming & shows qualities of an attentive employee whose been trained correctly. But that sets the mood for the remainder for any customer, Right?

So unfortunately while looking for majority of my items in the car food aisle I was not really approached by anyone on whether I need help or not but that could have been just that day ...
So no stars list for that!

Main points, I'll focus on & hopefully will assist others in choosing or not choosing to visit this PetSmart.

*Cleanliness
*Organized aisles= Easy to find products.
*Other customers looked & felt very comfy & satisfied from there.
*Had everything on my list w/o having to sub.
*Coolest part: The birds, cats, a couple pups... Because listening to them was so refreshing& calming versus all other everyday noises we unfortunately have to put up with daily!

Go there, not even to buy anything but just for the sounds,... Trust me! U might end up a pet person after????

Got a lion cut for our Pomeranian. She came out so soft,and ADORABLE!!!!

Very nice staff! Everything is clean and there are a lot of cool animals. Will go there again!

I enjoyed the green cheeked conior parrot. He was hand tamed and very cute.

They still greet you when you come in. Wow, that's nice to see

Great service and attentive staff.

Best customer service from RILEY!! He took time out after clocking out to help us find treats and toys for our new barn cat. PerSmart is lucky to have him as a employee, especially during a time when it’s hard to find employees. Thank you Riley, I hope we see you next time we’re in the store.

Jamie was really great. My original groomer had to cancel my appointment but they really worked around my schedule to make everything work out. And I truly couldn't be happier with how well the groom came out. I'll definitely be making my appointments with Jamie going forward!

It's my first time to visit this store and I highly appreciate the service that I've got. So warm and welcoming. So much stocks in store but organized. Easy to find the things you need but incase you can't... they have amazing associates that can help you out. Highly recommended and I will surely come back!!

This pet smart location in San Mateo is great, I was initially going in for a brush by Kong but then realized they didn’t supply this in the store. I found so many alternative brushes that are gentle just like Kong. It was great! They also had salmon oil, but it was tucked all the way at the top. So glad I was able to reach this myself and buy

Brought home two very loving kittens. Staff was very helpful and kind!

This place was absolutely awesome. Petco is local to me but this place actually had fish tank water. Petco has been out for months and only order a few at a time so then it's already gone. This place saved my fish and their tank. Thank you

Friendly staff and an ambient place. A bit tricky to get to if you are driving from Belmont, may need a u turn and staying on the right side after.

Excellent customer service and polite staffs. I always stop by this petsmart for love crickets 🦗.
