Aaron, the owner will order any book you ask for if he doesn't already carry it. Local authors and singers/songwriters feature their products for sale. There's a monthly calendar of fun activities like poetry, author book signings, lectures and even the famed Oily Chef gives presentations at Florey's. The perfect spot for purchasing locally-created jewelry and cards. They sell new and old books from various categories, including children's books. A nice place to sit for a spell and savor a good book in one of their comfy armchairs.

There are a few bookstores that give you a feeling that if you open your mind just a little you will hear thoughts scurrying from one book to another, and maybe if you're very quiet you can hear the ideas from the author themselves. Go quietly in the front door. Notice that things look surprisingly like a bookstore, but if you enter the back room the books seem well loved and a bit worn. These are books with character and personality. Some are old and if you are lucky may have a leather cover, or pressed cloth. My favorite local bookstore! They have a great selection of new titles and classics for all ages. And you can order any books they don't have onsite. This is my go-to place for gifts. Also have a large selection of inexpensive used books. I always find something there, so does my daughter.

I love Florey's! This little gem of an independent bookseller is one of the businesses that makes Pacifica so special. I have them on speed dial so I can order from them when I read about something I want to read. When I picked up my latest order, I had time to browse- I found so many books that I would never find anywhere else.

Great locally owned bookstore (third generation!) with new and used books, art, and cards. They have regular events with authors, readings, presentations, and book clubs. If they don't have something, they'll get it for you, often quickly and no price mark-up.

I always enjoy visiting Florey's Books. There is a great mix of both new and used volumes and I never leave empty-handed! There are also periodic in-store events. Highly recommended.
