Oak Meadow Park

Clean and nice park. It is a perfect location to relax and enjoy the good weather after a classic week load in the Bay Area. It is a great chance to spend time with your kids and teach the how to respect nature. You can have the opportunity to have a nice pick-nick with your family. There are clean restrooms and playgrounds everywhere. Parking is available but you need to pay. It is also nice to walk around the entire reservoir area and enjoy the horizon. Many people come here for Christmas pictures card or wedding.

Excellent park with a variety of engaging activities for kids including a train ride in the meadows, a carousel and a play ground. Hosts reserved and non-reserved picnic areas and nice playground structures. The park is adjoining the beautiful Vasona Lake county park in Los Gatos. The price for train is reasonable at $3 per person but is set to increase starting 2024. The last train ticket is booked at 3 PM, so plan your day accordingly. Has some wait time to board.

Great for kids under 12. Old fire truck and original airplane to climb on. Big climbing structures and large grass area to run!

I went there on Independence Day. There was nice gathering. Observed flag hoisting in a very conducive atmosphere. People enjoyed sitting on park tables along with snacks and other food items. Children found to enjoy toy train ride with their parents. Most attractive was a musical performance.

This is a great park overall, with playgrounds for both younger and older kids along with a former US Air Force training airplane, vintage firetruck, and wooden train for little ones to have a blast with. The downsides are that parking fills up quickly on the weekends, and the line for riding the carousel or train that goes through Vasona can be very long. That said, this is also a good venue for birthday parties, but definitely book in advance--it's a popular place, but for good reason!

Very cool place to visit with kids. They have ton of stuff for kids to play with - an old historic carousel, really cool train, a model of a fighter jet, big lawn and a big playground. They sell snacks, hotdogs and burgers by the train station too. Overall awesome place to check out.

It is a family-friendly playground with various installations and structures for kids of all ages to play on, as well as shades and picnic tables to enjoy.

A fantastic place for a summer evening walk. It’s never normally too crowded. Plenty of paths and multiple play areas for the little ones - and don’t forget the carousel and miniature train.

Nice park for kids. The Billy Wildcat Railroad is definitely a plus. Lots of Groups areas for BBQ. Longer trails for jogging and biking are available at the adjacent Vasona County Park.

Had a lovely walk here with a friend and two dogs on leashes. Not too crowded, beautiful warm weather, and of course beautiful views of the lake!

Super spacious park in Vasona Park in Los Gatos. This park is basically the park with the red train station and train nearby. Perfect spot for yoga, playing frisbee, or just relaxing and enjoying the fresh air.

So relaxing. .. the park is open for children. LOTS of places for big party cookouts with large BBQ pits!!! Long shady places to walk, skateboard, bike ride, scooters, & pets are allowed!!!!

Great place to take kids or the family for a day out. Plenty of areas to picnic or throw down a large BBQ with friends. There is a train line for small kids and parents to ride for 3 dollars per person. Very recommended 👌 there is also a nice old school carrousel for kids to ride. Also 3 bucks.

Plenty of squirrels around as you walk the paths between the two parking lots or playgrounds if you travel with little ones. 😉

My two year old loved it here. We rode the train and carousel multiple times! Nice sized park with lots of things to do and places/play areas to explore. Come early. The park grounds got more crowded as the day went on.

Big, clean, green and awesome park.. great one for family with kids... Carousel and Train are additional fun!!

Great park with a small parking that is payable and no gates for small kid. Has a train and swings. Has a fake plane and lot of grass. Nice place to take pictures.

Great space for our kiddos to play at & run around. My son especially loves the Billy Jones train!

A relaxing park! You can also participate in parent-child activities! Good place!

Nice park, especially for family with kid, can spend whole day.
