Dr. Ryan A. Starr, DMD

I’ve had a fear of dentists my entire life, but Dr. Ryan Starr has removed all those fears. He’s the best dentist I’ve ever had. He’s patient, he listens to all my concerns, and he is incredibly gentle. The entire office staff and hygienists are extremely nice, as well. Don’t delay, see Dr. Starr today! I highly recommend him.

I began coming to Starr Dental in the early 2000s on the recommendation of a friend. The care I've received has been excellent by any measure—from the wonderfully competent and friendly staff, the efficient and helpful technicians, and most importantly Dr. Jeff and now Dr. Ryan Starr and their dedication to the highest standards of patient care. I can't be happier... how happy? I moved away from the Peninsula 12 years ago, and I still drive 80 miles for the care and practitioners I trust, and it's well worth it.

Dr. Ryan Starr is delightful and very professional. My mother, who was visiting, needed a tooth extracted. She was quickly added to his schedule. He answered all her questions and put her mind at ease. The procedure went so smoothly. Afterwards she kept telling everyone he was a great dentist and now she wants to travel here for all her future dental needs!!!

I’ve been with the Starr Dental Office for almost 40 years now and Dr Ryan Starr is carrying on the tradition. He is a skilled and knowledgeable doctor with a gentle touch. I highly recommend his practice to adults and their young children.

My teeth were cleaned by Zi at Dr. Ryan Starr's office yesterday. She did a very thorough, painless cleaning and was very pleasant to talk to. Although my appointment was not with Dr. Ryan Starr, he took a few minutes to answer a medication question related to my teeth. I have always been very satisfied with going to Dr. Starr's office.

I have been going to the Dr. Jeffery Starr dental office for many years and now his son Ryan has taken over the practice. Ryan recently repaired a chipped tooth and some alignment issues for me. He took me in quickly and made the process efficient and painless. He is wonderful.

Truly a family practice as Dr Ryan Starr has recently taken the helm from his father. The entire Dr Starr team makes going to the dentist a pleasant experience - particularly for my daughter who has high sensory sensitivity. My family has been going to Drs Starr for well over 10 years and will continue for many years to come.

I have been a patient of three generations of dentists named “Dr. Starr”— Jim, Jeff, & Ryan. They were and are the best. My only regret is that they don’t take my Kaiser Permanente Senior Advantage dental insurance (Delta Dental).

Excellent, and quick service with friendly staff! I generally choose my dentists based on friendliness of staff. Thought being if they make you feel at ease you turn an appt at the dentist into a fun meeting every 6 months instead of a chore.

Ryan recently took over the practice from his father (who recently retired), and the apple does not fall far from the tree.
