VCA Pinnacle Animal Hospital

These guys are the BEST! I took my kitty in, as she was very sick. They told me the news I didn't want, but gave her some booster shots so i could spend 1 more day and night with my best friend. When the time came, we went back and they let me hold her as i said goodbye. Days later i recieved a condolence card signed by the entire office. I'm crying as I write this, but will forever be thankful for the wonderful staff. Thank you for making one of the the hardest things I ever done in my life go a bit easier. PP and I are very thankful.

After trying various vets in Saratoga, Campbell, Willow Glen, we finally found a vet we trust! Hidden away in the small shopping center, I’m so glad my wife found this gem! The staff at Pinnacle are incredibly helpful and care about each of their clients. We’ve had a few reasons to visit this vet including getting standard shots for our pup, a scratched cornea, documentations and special shots for moving away to a different state, etc. They’re extremely knowledgeable and careful to do thorough examinations. They even have a side entrance/special room for animals that might have a contagious disease or illness so that the others aren’t exposed. We’ve moved out of state temporarily and miss our vet so much!

Pinnacle is extremely cat friendly. Dogs and cats have a separate entrance the office has walkways for your cat to explore and use to get acclimated. The staff is friendly and takes the time to answer all your questions and concerns.

Easily the best vet I've ever been to.

I lost my sweet kitty Lily a few weeks ago and it was devastating. Amber and the staff at Pinnacle were so supportive and helped me through the process of having her cremated while I was a sobbing mess. They made an awful situation as easy as possible. A few days later I received a handwritten card in the mail with their condolences. That meant so, so much to me and I keep the card next to a framed picture of my sweet girl. Thank you for treating me with kindness and compassion during a very emotional time.

Dr. Shah and Dr. Watson are absolutely amazing. I’ve been taking all of my pets here for years (4 kitties, 2 beardies, 1 bunny). They’re so kind and thorough. I can’t speak for the other doctors on staff, but everyone that we’ve seen over the years (I’ve had MANY visits) has always been truly great. I would absolutely follow Dr. Shah to a new practice if she left.

Scruffy actually goes into their door willingly! I've never seen a vet that didn't scare my dogs, but Pinnacle somehow isn't scary. That alone speaks to how great this place is I think.

I think the first time I took Scruffy here, he was more frightened than on his subsequent visits. He seemed to recognize the smell as something bad at first, but their wonderfully pleasant, gentle, and kind vet techs, vets, and other staff quickly made him feel a bit better. I feel like it was mostly just the energy they put forth that he reacted positively towards.

But the Easy Cheez on a pretzel stick is what cemented Pinnacle into the positive side of Scruffy's mind I think. He's not even food motivated, typically refusing to eat anything in public places, but I think we can all agree that the Easy Cheez Pretzel brings comfort to us all! I'm sure their extra gentle and rather quick shot skills, along with much positive attention, also might play a role... but I'm giving it to the Easy Cheez Pretzel here!

tl;dr This is a great group of doggo doctors and doggo doctor helpers. 10/10 Scruffy recommends. Be sure to ask for the Easy Cheez Pretzel!

The BEST animal hospital I have ever been too, I recommend this place to everyone. I am so grateful to have found Pinnacle and their amazing and super friendly team. My kitties are always taken care of at this cat friendly practice. I always get honest service and never feel taken advantage of. The staff truly cares about animals and never tries to get me to spend unnecessary money - like all the other places I've been before. Dr. Moore is the most AMAZING vet - she has been a blessing for Mable and Stella. She always makes sure to follow up, several times, to see how they are doing, even after her work hours. Mable had to undergo two dental surgeries and Dr. Moore made us both feel at ease throughout the entire journey. I am always informed of everything I need to know and my kitties are always treated with respect and love. True customer service and care!

We have been looking for a new vet so we brought our 13 year old border collie here for a checkup and allergy shot. We had a great experience with Dr. Watson. She was professional and knowledgeable. Pinnacle is about a 30 minute drive for us, but it is worth it to get great care for our senior dog.

We love Pinnacle! Specifically Dr Shah and her team. It can be hard to get an appt sometimes but beyond that - Dr Shah is incredible with our two dogs. One of which is incredibly shy and cautious and really only prefers his mom and dad and has serious stranger danger. Dr Shah is fear free certified and takes her time with the exam, making sure my boy is comfortable during the whole process. She never suggest stuff that isn’t necessary and seeing my cautious boy just melt into her means the world to me.

Pinnacle Hospital deserves more than 5 stars. The staff took great care of my dog throughout the years; kept meticulous records, showed great care and concern for my beloved dog. Every employee I've encountered is genuinely kind and helpful. I am so grateful for the wonderful team at Pinnacle and will continue to support them. #dogs

We’re new to the area, and I was super nervous to take my pets to a new vet. I was relieved, however, when we found Pinnacle Animal Hospital. The staff is patient and have a good attitude. They even got on the floor, equipped with treats, to comfort my pets. They were prompt, friendly and efficient. Thanks Pinnacle Animal Hospital for taking care of my sweet babies!

The staff at VCA Pinnacle is fabulous!!! They have always treated my pets with the utmost care and kindness. Dr. Praadnya Shah is fantastic with my reactive Border Collie. She has taken the time to work with us one-on-one and that has made a HUGE difference. He allows her to examine him and is tolerant of procedures under her professional care.

This place is fantastic!!! We have taken an assortment of cats and dogs here over the years. There are multiple vets in the practice but you can also see the same one each time.
They have extended hours into the evening and are also available on Saturdays. With the long hours it's super easy to get in at a convenient time. Also saved on a few emergency care visits since their office was still open!
The doctor's and staff are very caring and great with animals. There is a separate dog and cat entrance. If your dog is super active you can wait outside instead and they'll call you when the room is ready.
Wait times are minimal to zero. The place is so clean you could eat off the floor! They quickly clean up any mess.
The staff always offers coffee tea or water. They also have treats for the pups.
They support annual check the chip day, have a puppy and kitten package to make shots more reasonable, and can handle most procedures right there.
The vets often spend extra time trying to figure out the most cost effective way to run lab tests and have even switched to a medication we could use for both of our cats.
Diagnostics are fantastic. They found a cancerous lump on my dog's shoulder that the emergency vets completely missed.
And when it is time to send a pet to a better place, they have a compassion room just for that.

I really can't say enough good things about this veterinary office. Staff always went above and beyond when scheduling appointments, answering questions, helping to submit pet insurance claims etc. I saw several of the vets and vet techs here and they were all wonderful - professional, empathetic; you can really tell that they care about the health and happiness of your pet. They called out clearly when some care was optional or where there were alternatives, understanding when cost might be a factor.

I'm moving out of the bay area, and this veterinarian clinic is one of things I'll miss the most.

We brought my dog in for an allergic reaction to a bee sting. Being our first time experiencing this, our emotions were high. We were not registered patients there but they still took us as soon as we got there. The receptionist was just wonderful getting our information and checking us in. Dr. Shah, was just perfect. So nice and knew exactly what needed to be done. Everyone was so gentle with my dog and ensured me she was going to be okay. I will forever thank everyone at this pet hospital for helping us!

We chose this veternarian because of great reviews! They did not disappoint! Took in our Standard Schnauzer, Sarge, for a small problem he was having. Dr. Moore and her assistant were terrific. The other staff are great as well. A beautiful and clean operation with separate entrances for dogs and cats.

They are so friendly and very obvious is caring for and loving animals. We left there feeling great about this animal hospital. What a fantastic place! I highly recommend Pinnacle Animal Hospital and we will be back!!

I've taken my cats here and my roommate has taken her dog and we are both very impressed by their gentle handling techniques and their vast knowledge of animals. It's obvious that they go the extra mile to make your animals feel comfortable and they explain everything they're doing as they do it. I would recommend them for any animals but especially the shy or nervous animals because they're excellent with them.

Doctor Watson is a blessing. She was with me when I had to put down my rat thing 2. Held me and cried with me. She is such a kinder spirit. She is my vet for life. She now treats my turtle Poe. She told me all about my turtle, gender, type and even food that would work with him! She even told me he is 12 years old! So much stuff i never knew. She is the best and most caring vet ❤ you would be blessed to meet her and all the amazing staff.

Best staff and health care for our dog! They are very professional, attentive, and provide high quality services, we highly recommend pinnacle for your pets needs! (Plus being extra sweet to our pup is a cherry on top)

Absolutely love Pinnacle! They have the best staff and medical team and they are always extremely helpful and supportive. I know my pups are getting the best comprehensive medical care and collaborative efforts when needed. Five stars is not enough!
