Oh Honey Macaron

I have a big sweet tooth, so I was happy to find Oh Honey, a walk away from the main Castro street. They have holiday items at the time of this review (Dec 2023). I liked all their flavor combinations and presentation for the macarons and choux pastries. I felt like I was walking into a FoodNetwork competition. My favorites were the muscat and matcha Christmas tree macaron. Everything was so good and not super sweet. It was quite addicting o try each of them and share, so I'll be back soon.

This is a female-owned, small business that keeps the city unique, so it's great to support them!

These damn things are addictive. they're so delicious i can never walk out without buying at least 3-4, there's usually so many flavors i wish to try. These macrons are not like the typicall little biscuit with a thin layer of cream in the middle, there is so much filling the top and bottom cookie end up being at least 45-90 degrees from one another, and there's usually some other type of special ingredient, like an mini oreo, a whole green grape, etc etc.

The Choux are delicious too, filled with their delicious butter cream, but for me the real stars are the macrons. Be warned, if you try them, youll want more.

The custard cream puff was so good after I put it into fridge. Now they offer the custard cream puff on weekends only. 5 dollars each.6 flavors was available yesterday: Earl Grey milk tea with boba, crème brûlée, sea salt cream cheese, strawberry cream cheese, tiramisu, chocolate.

I come here every week to get the black sesame cream puff. Love that it’s not too sweet. The vanilla custard cream puff was pretty good too. There’s a nice and quiet outdoor seating area that’s dog friendly.

The most AESTHETIC and CUTE desserts here! The presentation of the macarons and the cream puffs is absolutely amazing and quite a feast for your eyes. Taste wise, I personally think the cream puffs are better than their macarons. The macaron filling is a bit dense and not as light as I would have expected (maybe it depends on what time you come to the shop to get them). The macaron flavors I tried: nutella, fruity pebbles, oreo, and ferrero rocher. My favorite was definitely the ferrero rocher but it was quite difficult to eat since they literally put a ferrero rocher inside. The fruity pebbles flavor is the most unique and very cute! The cream puffs were absolutely perfect and so light and had the perfect textures. I tried the hojicha, boba, tiramisu, and creme brulee. My favorite was definitely the hojicha!

Come Again? Yes I would come back and get cream puffs for a nice dessert to end the day or if I wanted to get some for any special occasion, I’ll keep this place in mind!

Omg the macarons are so good! Stopped in because we live nearby. The flavors are unique, the texture is good, and the presentation is so pretty. We really enjoyed the tiramisu, blueberry cheesecake, and pistachio flavors!

This place is amazing. They only have a few things on the menu, but these things are amazing. Non-traditional overfilled macaroons combine perfectly textured cookies with smooth fillings. Flavor combinations are fantastic. My current favorite is lemon hawthorn. Cream puffs are amazing, especially the salted cheese. Definitely worth a trip if you're in the area.

Genuinely the best boba I have tried so far, and I have been around. I highly recommend the fruity teas, and the creme brulee milk tea actually tastes like proper creme brulee with a delicious toasted caramel top. The baked goods here are incredible too.

The best brown sugar bubble tea ever in Bay Area!!! I also highly recommend their strawberry green tea+pearl, which also includes fresh strawberries!! Besides,the bubble tea puff is so delicious which is my favorite!

Very small spot. Though the two macaroons and two puffs were sooo good. Want to go back!!! Yummy.

Everything tastes very good and the cheesecake is a must. My favorite in this area for sure. The place is cute.

So good. The cream puffs are as good as they get, with incredible choux. We love the creme brulee and boba milk tea cream puffs. We didn't care for the salted cheese or tiramisu cream puffs, but you couldn't fault the craftsmenship.

Sadly they don't seem to offer boba tea any more. When they did, they were out favorite in the area. Hope they bring it back some day!

I had no idea this bakery was here but an early evening sweet tooth brought me here and I'm so glad it did. Cheesecake was good, as was the tiramisu cream puff. I'm saving the bear macaron for later but I imagine that will be good as well. I'll be back! This place was so cute and charming and looked like it was made with love.

Not too sweet and fun to eat!

Me and my husband had the creme brulee brown sugar boba milk tea, we both thought it was the best boba drink we had ever had. Now we are determined to try everything on the menu. So glad this place is on our neighborhood now. Side note, the parking is right behind it next to the Peet's coffee.

Exceptional baked goods at great prices. Wonderful setting. Would love the addition of some brewed hot coffee, will definitely be coming back.
