Pedro's Auto Clinic

I cannot recommend Pedro's Auto Clinic enough. After having to jump start my car, I came into Pedro's thinking I needed to get my battery replaced. Pedro looked at my car immediately upon my arrival, and fixed the issue within minutes. Pedro even took the time to show me what was wrong with the car - the Nissan dealership had installed my battery incorrectly, and it was so loose it was shifting around. Finally Pedro didn't even charge me for this repair. Next time I have an auto issue, I'll be coming to Pedro and skipping the dealership. Thank you for your amazing service!

Wow, this was by far the best experience I have had with any auto service. I called Pedro's late evening, after the shop had closed, and he picked up. He immediately assessed the issue, even after the stated open hours, so I could make it to work okay the next morning. He was kind, honest, thorough and genuinely cared about making sure the issue with my car was taken care of well. It turned out to be a battery issue and not an alternator issue (thank goodness). Pedro was professional, efficient and honest--it was a great experience and I will be returning for any future car needs!

Pedro is the most honest mechanic I've ever taken my cars to. He's helped me, my friends and family with a dozen cars and trucks over the last 15 years, and I am so happy to have met him. I had to crack up at the few people who wrote the angry reviews. Pedro is a really nice guy, but he is a human being who can get annoyed with people who try his patience. Hey, even I have tried his patience on occasion, but he's such a good mechanic I just appreciate it that he continues to provide a great service to us. He's a great (and very interesting) person who is ery passionate about fixing cars, and the mechanics of how things operate. Happy I found this guy.

Pedro is awesome! Knows what the exact issues in your car are. Knows what's just essential to get fixed. Gives you a nice little explanation of what's wrong, and what needs to get fixed, and what's okay to stay, and let time decide if it actually needs to get fixed. Good value for the buck and saves you some money, but letting you choose whether or not to fix the non-critical issues.

I got my BMW 325 Ci, brakes replaced from Pedros and go to him for all my oil changes as well!

Pedro is an exceptional mechanic. He is a master technitian, honest and fair. Don't be put off by the unassuming location. This man knows cars and can handle all of your automotive needs.

Pedro will do right by you. I went to one mechanic, and they said they couldn't handle the repairs - I should go to a dealership. The dealership said I needed to pay $10,000 for a new battery. Pedro fixed the issue for $1500, and he added in an oil change also. Best mechanic I've ever met. I can't recommend him enough.

Rule #1 of having aging cars is to find a quality mechanic that you can trust. My wife and I were lucky to find such a mechanic in Mountain View with Pedro's Auto Clinic.

We had been traveling around the country with one of our cars the previous year taking whatever local mechanic we could get. We did our best to find good mechanics with Yelp or word of mouth, but it would be an understatement to say we had mixed results. Upon moving back to the Bay Area finding a consistent mechanic we could trust was among our top priorities.

As usual we began with a Yelp search and found Pedro's Auto Clinic and have been consistently impressed with the quality of service, fair prices, and dependability. We'll be moving to Santa Clara soon and I will continue to drive to Mountain View for service.

Whenever you use someone's services for the first time, you are apprehensive. But Pedro proved to me that he is very knowledgeable and trustworthy when it comes to automotive repair. He is very fair, honest, and efficient. Started with one car, now I get both my vehicles serviced there. His times are flexible and he wants to do the job right. Pedro is simply the best auto repair facility in the Palo Alto - Mountain View area. He utilizes a very state of the art diagnostic program that even excels systems that new car dealers have in use. He shows you all parts that he has replaced almost automatically. You cannot outdo the work he performs and never surprises you with the results. The pricing is in line with other independent shops and far less than what auto dealers
charge.

Pedro is a very creative mechanic. He was able to fix a tail light problem quickly without using any of the expensive parts other repair shops wanted to use. He listens to the customer and is genuinely interested in solving their problem.

Pedro is awesome. Seems to be a very experienced machanic. He was also very honest and upfront with me about what exactly is needed to be done with my car now and what I can forego for now. The hourly rate he's charging is not the cheapest around, but I got quality work.
