I have lived less than a mile away from this little gem of a market and didn't know it was here until this weekend when my daughter needed eggs RIGHT NOW for a recipe she was in the middle of.

I searched Maps for the closest market near me, and voila!

Great produce selection, pan dulce, and oh yes, the eggs I'd come in for. I'll be back - often!

Want the most authentic Mexican food. In the mont Vista area near nasa ames. This place is the best. Sit out side amd enjoy the food and weather. The supper Taco or supper boritto is the nirvana in your mouth. Don't pass this place.

Looks like maybe new management over what used to be La Fortuna Market? They spiffed it up with nicer grocery shelves and look like they have so much more ethnic food. The Mediterranean/Middle Eastern sections has so many options! I am pleasantly surprised!

They pretty much have all the basics you need without having to go to a Safeway which is nice 👍

Greenside Market is fantastic. They have everything a neighborhood market should have and more. One of the coolest things about Greenside is that it has has its very own Taqueria. The burritos are ginormous, every one I've tried has been delicious, and they're good at requests. You might not know the Taqueria was there if you drove by, but once you know about it you don't want to forget. Witness this absolute unit of a burrito in my hand. Whoa!

The most nice atmosphere when I stop here I was Amazed fried chicken 🐔 Burritos. I work in San Jose coming to go to my house I Can Stop And buy fried chicken 🐔🐔🍗 too go very Convenient.

Amazing burritos! When they say Super they mean it. The carne asada was tender and well flavored. I bought the crew lunch and placed my order of 35 Super Burritos the day before and when I arrived at the time agreed they we ready, boxed and warm. Every person complimented on how good they were and also the salsa. We had red and green. Both are rich with flavor and just the amount of spice. They also have a marke and fried chicken but I haven't made it past the burritos yet. I highly recommend it.

Do not pass this spot up, absolutely amazing food. Had 2 super tacos and will be back no question!

This is the kind of joint I don't want to tell people about because it is a hidden gem but the folks there deserve all the business in the world. Wonderful Taqueria and market. Do yourself a favor and grab some pan dulce for dessert. Everything I have had on their menu has been excellent.

Authentic Mexican market, and a TERRIFIC lunch counter. Large portions at a very reasonable price. Some of the best Al Pastor I've ever had.

Update for 2023: This is a different business now called Las Adelitas. Please see my review for them. It is not as good as Green side was unfortunately, I miss it!

My Husband and I come here often to eat lunch. In our opinion their food is the freshest and tastiest compared to the same type of restaurants in the area. The cook there really knows what he's doing. And the lady and gentleman who work the front register/take orders are very friendly. We love you, Green side💗

We are very grateful for this market. Not only do they sell the essentials but they also have a taqueria, carniceria, along with a large variety of wine & alcohol. All items are fresh. The market is always clean and organized.

This convenient market is pretty stocked with foreign and domestic items. The meat and cheese department is always full...the people behind the counter always receive you with a smile....in addition, the owner never fails to greet you like if you were family...love this convenient market...I 100%reccommend it

It's a little local store. Tacos. Chocolate. Liquor. All the stuff you really need in a pinch. Pleasant employees. Good experience. It's going to become a part of my routine.

We went to the taqueria inside and the tacos are huge specially the ones called the arrachera and carnitas tacos they give you big proportions.....🌮🌯

Good assortment. Owners are friendly. Avocados are fresher than any other store I know. Also there is a Mexican food court

The workers were friendly and helpful. Definitely has a large variety of things for a mom and pops place. Just minutes away from Navy Lodge.

Mostly geared towards a Hispanic market but they got a fresh meat counter, good veggies, and a sandwich shop
