Wow, we've been eating here for years. We've never had anything but excellent service and wonderful food. I'm really picky about restaurants and my only complaint about El Rosal is that the Salsa is too hot. :)

Attentive and friendly waitresses, amazing food. Everything was so good. Beans and rice were on point. Ask for the special floor chips they only bring them by request they are thicker and amazing!

Exceptional service with limitless refills that are promptly refilled and a friendly hometown feel, you'll enjoy eating the food fresh from this cocina. The salsa is a creamy picante sauce and is lovely with their flour chips. The salad al plancha is amazingly tasty and has a nice rich green sauce that flutters across the pallette and resolves sweetly with the charbroiled grilled chicken. The Mexican rice has peas and carrots which I find a bit strange however all in all the rice was phenomenal as well.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough as all the restaurants that bear the El Rosal name are family owned and operated and if you're one for supporting the local families then you cannot go to a better place in Modesto.

This is a local chain of good Mexican food. This location is quieter by design because of all the booths and the art is fun. Excellent service too.

My favorite family resteraunt with amazing food and service. The ladies all remember my order when I come in and fill up our drinks and chips as fast as we knock them down!
