Eagle Park

My favourite park in Mountain View. There’s swings, a few picnic tables (first come first serve) and lots of room to play soccer, volleyball, etc. The park has off leash hours in the morning during the week, but if you come early you’ll find a few dogs on the weekends as well. The dogs here tend to be very well behaved and the people who bring their dogs are very attentive since the park isn’t fully enclosed. This may not be a good option for you if your dog doesn’t have good recall as it’s possible for dogs to run out of the park onto Shoreline which is a busy street. There is also a water fountain that dogs can use but unfortunately a lot of time you’ll find sand or something that keeps the water from draining properly likely due to the proximity to the playground for kids. Good spot to come on weekends, throw down a blanket, and read/relax.

Large spacious grass area for dogs to run free. There is an off leash time in the morning when a group of dog owners gathers in the middle with their dogs.

Took my dog there twice while I was visiting a friend and she loved it.

You do need to have a good voice control, though, as a Park is not totally enclosed.

There is a water fountain for dogs and humans and a toilet for humans nearby. Dedicated parking lot.

Nice to walk the dogs around the neighborhood from there through downtown Mountain View.

Awesome park, lots of shady areas to relax. Love bringing my dog here off leash. The park also has a playground, men and women's restrooms, and a swimming pool but I'm not sure how access to that works.

Lot of sunshine. A lot of open green lawns to play around or take your dog for a walk. The play structure is in the sun, but there is enough shade around for parents to stand and watch their kids play. There is sufficient parking on the roads or nearby areas.

Great family friendly place. Love that the playground is shaded so it doesn't get too hot for the kids to play. The restroom was clean and stocked! (Sadly not all parks restrooms are)

Excellent park in the heart of Mountain View. Dogs are welcome and very clean and nice people. Lights in the evening make it feel safe. Most owners pick up after their pets.

Very nice little park. Lots of swallows, ducks, and geese. Nice piers and scenic bridge. Also nice and quiet. Good parking.

Nice neighbor park with lots of grass, a good playground, a pool, and bathrooms. We had a birthday party there with 16 people. We used two picnic tables and set up a popup shade tent. Worked out great!! We did not use the pool.

I usually just am passing through it but I on sunny days the paths are somewhat tree covered which is nice.

Solid park with structures for younger and older kids. Well-planned with a good amount of trees that provide shade in the afternoon, plus a big grass field. Nice park!

One of the largest park in Mountain view. Best for dog walking and spending time in weekends.

I love this park so much! They also have a great group that joins around 8am every morning!

something in the sand gave my son rashes all over him. arms legs and back. not sure what it is so we stopped going. otherwise a very good park.

Nice well kept facility with recreational areas and a maintained outdoor pool (fee to use pool). It was a nice area!

Great park for dog owners. They have dedicated off-leash dog hours, and the community of dog owners are kind and train their dogs well. The field is flat and wide open and has some walls, but not enclosed, so be aware to make sure your dog has good recall (especially near the trees/parking lot, where squirrels appear).

Nice. The swimming pool is convenient and cheaper around here.

Biggest park at Mountain View, South bay. good location, running kids, dog place

For toddlers up to grade school the playground is fun and clean. A lot of dogs and their owners frequent this park and can be a real spectacle if their dogs don't get along. It's a well attended park and there's plenty of room for all who show up.

Great outdoor park with a large grass field. It is dog friendly and usually has a few people out playing ball with their dog. Pool and playground are also close by. Great park for the local neighborhood!
