Hiram gave me a great cut. I came in with a general idea of what I wanted, and he was able to expand on that to find what I wanted. He also added new product based on my hair type, which is something I’ve been trying to find. Will definitely be back

Been going here for years when we first moved from the East Coast. Cole and his team are great at what they do, and it’s been the only spot that was able to tame my three cowlicks.

I travel once a month from Berkeley to get my haircut here. It’s worth the drive. After every cut I get so many compliments. You won’t be disappointed.

Ramsey is the man and always does a great job! I drive all the way from Santa Cruz just get my hair cut here. No matter who you book an appointment with, you won't be disappointed. I will never go to another barber shop. Thanks Royal Shave Parlor!

Very easy to make an appointment here. Nice outdoor seating for a covid-safe waiting period. I saw Cole today. He took his time and did a terrific job cutting my hair. Very friendly. I would definitely recommend and I'll be going back again.

I've gone to the same barber for almost 6 years. I was in dire need of a haircut while visiting family, so I called up Royal Shaving Parlor after reading the reviews. Was not disappointed in any way! I was able to get an appointment easily and I really liked that I knew who my barber was going to be before hand. Dino was awesome and did an excellent job cutting my hair. I'm always very hesitant when someone new tries to cut my hair because it's such a pain and is really difficult. Dino came in clutch. The shop was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I'm not sure I would make this a regular place for a cut with a $40 price tag, but it was worth every penny this time and if I need a cut next time I'm in town I'll be sure sure to call up Royal Shaving.

First time here and they nailed it! Ramsey is THE man. Shave and a haircut were 100% spot on, likely due to a perfect combo of his ability to listen to what I wanted and having the technical skill to execute it. Extremely satisfied. Very cool atmosphere as well. Needless to say, I'll be back. :-)

Loved this place. Alain was my barber. I was nervous since I have not been to a barber that I felt like home since my early 20s. I had a barber growing up in Redwood City Clemente barber shop across from Target. I chose Alain because of one review and he had that old school look. I never had a beard till now. If you want a cool place to come too and have a chat with different walks of life then I would recommend Royal Shaving Parlor. Try and get Alain. You would be surprised how he became a barber.

Cole is the best!! He was my stylist for several years when I lived in CA (I had long hair) and eventually became my husband's barber also. Cole and Dino did a great job fixing up an old salon into this hip and cozy barbershop. Love and miss this place!

Absolute best shop in Northern California. I drive 2 hours round trip after I moved just to keep coming here. Clean shop, great aesthetic, covid safe, awesome barbers. Ramsey is THAT DUDE! Amazing professional, hilarious guy, and a master of his craft.

Cole has been cutting my hair for the last couple of years and always does a perfect job. The shop has a super chill vibe and everyone is professional. 10 out 10 would recommend both Cole and RSP!

This place is great! Exceptional service and skilled barbers. Never had a bad cut from here. Highly recommended if you want a good cut and enjoy everything that comes from experiencing a good barbershop.

Top notch service and cuts with classic barber shop charm. Reasonable prices especially for the service and treatment that you get! Ask for Cole if you can, but I've also had great experiences with Doug and I don't think you can go wrong.

Awesome barbershop in Los Gatos. The interior is well kept and has a classic barbershop esthetic. The whole crew is super fun to talk to about anything and half the time you forget you even came in for a haircut. This is the last place you will have to try before finding your permanent barber.

Couldnt get in with my regular stylist so I walked in to this place today, cautiously scoping it out.
Everyone was friendly, i happened to get a walk-in with their newest stylist Allen (sp?).

I showed Allen a picture of my previous cut and explained it. He knew what i meant immediately and after about 20 mins i had my favorite haircut to date.
The fade was better than my usual and he noted that the length distribution of my previous cut was a little off, which he fixed.

Allen was personable, articulate, and skilled at his craft. I'll be going here from now on and asking for him.

**Review for Master Barber Matt McCoy**

This household loves Matt. Yes, the whole household. My husband was the quintessential "cheaper is better" haircut guy for as long as I've known him. Thankfully we found Matt and life and my husband's hairline have been forever changed for the better. My brother and brother-in-law have both sat in Matt's chair for equally amazing results. Matt has an eye for detail and understands the subtle nuances of individual faces and head shapes. His precision and eye for style are top notch. They don't called this man "Blendciaga" for no reason after all.

Outside of regularly scheduled cuts, Matt also cut and styled the crew for our wedding and the results were without a doubt, picture perfect!

Every barbershop I have been to in the last decade still operates on some unnecessarily antiquated practices.

I am so happy to have found somewhere that not only offers appointments (so we aren't waiting for hours!), but also allows non-cash payments.

There are plenty of chairs, and everyone seems ready to offer tips/advice for those in need.

I don't think anyplace within an hour can compete with the convenience, service, and quality of this shop. I have tried plenty of other shops, and despite having to drive from Santa Cruz, I will definitely be returning as a regular.

Damien. I was there when chucho the person who left a bad review before me. Chucho is just entitled brat who want to complain. Station was very clean. I hope Google take off Chuchos review.

RSP is a great place for someone who wants a detailed professional cut. Cole takes his time understanding your exact needs and takes his time. The place is immaculate and is very diligent with respect to COVID compliance. The barber I was using before finding RSP unfortunately fell victim (financially) to COVID. I would highly recommend we throw our support to businesses like Royal Shaving Parlor. These are businesses we can ill afford to lose.
