Got the soup again, amazing soul food, I must have it every week now. Ordered the flour tortillas (I know corn is more authentic but...) fresh made to order, hot and chewy with delicious burn marks, are you kidding me?! I drank ever drop and again, wow!

Carne en su jugo! Remember that name, it translates to delicious Mexican soup or something. Kind of like a Mexican Pho without the noodles. So good, so fresh, like something your Mexican grandmother (you wish you had) would make you.
The cashier was beautiful, nice and super helpful. They are lucky to have her.
Their Al Pastor is as good as it gets.

Today I realized how little I know about Mexican food! I ordered carne en su jugo. Since I never had the soup before I even asked the waitress if it is enough for dinner or I need to have another entrée. Lots of meat and bacon. They also have pickled patato slices at the self-help station. Great experience!

We tried the fish tacos, carne asada tacos, and carnitas tacos. They were all all delicious. Each ingredient was fresh, the meats cooked perfectly. Where other restaurants sometimes have dried out carnitas ends, every bit of these were juicy.

Friendly customer service, plenty of indoor seating. Parking is plentiful if you don’t mind crossing a busy street.

They have the best enchilada sauce. It has a deep rich smokey flavor. I randomly picked this restaurant while in town on business and I am glad I did. I had the 49er burrito with threaded chicken and it was excellent ad a very reasonable price.

Amazing Mexican food, quick order at the counter and enjoy! Food was better than expected and place was clean!

Great authentic Mexican, good prices very tasty. Open until 11pm which is great. Includes a self serve salsa and pickled veg bar to go with your complementary tortia chips.

Went here on a recommendation from a local. Great taqueria!! I got the al pastor taco and a shrimp taco. Delicious. Will eat here again. Only bad thing is parking lot is tiny and theres barely any street parking.

Chicken super Burrito was amazing 👏 get the watermelon colored salsa if you love hot stuff. I really appreciate the foil wrapping they did.

My Fav Taqueria Carne en su Jugo is DELICIOUS beans beer bacon in a Soup Delicious.I get a Non Alcoholic Chavela with Mineral Water super delicious

Was in the neighborhood and hungry. Walked in without looking at reviews and ordered a burrito. It was incredibly delicious! And the salsa bar was great. So good I went back and got another for dinner.

Food is always good and fast, but I've had some issues with consistency in the preparation. Just have to be specific about how you want it. Still my favorite pastor and taqueria in Santa Cruz

Outstanding carnitas, decent rellanos and the tastiest salsa make this place a go-to taqueria for sure.

And the best part is they're the only good eats joint in this dead end town with a view that stays open later than 10 pm.

Tacos here reminded me of tacos in TJ. Their diablo sauce is the best!

Best house soup ever! I was fresh out of the hospital and it made me feel so much better! Definitely worth trying and I bet you'd be hooked too!

Carne ensejugo (sp?) is the best thing on the menu and this is the only place in SC you can get it. Plus, late hours (unlike most places in town), mean access to late night eats that are something other than fast food.

Really tasty Mexican food. Al pastor tacos are my fav. Excellent salsa bar.

The Carne en su Jugo (literally "meat in its juices", the restaurant's signature beef soup) was absolutely fantastic; can't recommend it enough if you like your food on the salty side.
