I have been coming to Yarnells’s since 1997 when I bought my first car and still continue to come here.
Love the staff, the ease of scheduling and the fast and honest service.
I know my cars have lasted as long as they have (until I have gotten bored and sold them ) because of them.

Ps: they have dogs and the most mild tempered and non bothering babies. So please drive in carefully and don’t forget to pet them. They love some attention

I've been using Yarnell's for nearly 15 years now and I can't believe this is the first time I'm writing a review. They're, in a word, flawless... by far the most honest and efficient car mechanics out there. Latest example - I have a 2005 Honda Odyssey that I brought in for 2 major issues. First is an electrical issue where all car instruments / dashboard turned off in the in the middle of driving - which lead me to think I have an alternator issue. I told them the symptom and even suggested to replace the alternator. Many other mechanics would have just done as I asked - but Yarnell went beyond that. They used their expert knowledge to figure out the alternator is still good. The issue turned out to be a loose connection at the battery terminals - which they just helped me tighten. $40 vs $600+.

Second issue is a bad vibration while going above 60 mph while accelerating. It wasn't an easy issue to diagnose and it doesn't even seem to happen all the time. I told them again the symptom and they initially found an issue with worn-out engine mount. But before going ahead with that expensive repair ($1000+), they asked their head technician for a second opinion. Apparantly, he took it out for a drive and diagnosed it to a worn CV axle issue. Again - diagnosing the right issue and the repair cost being much cheaper ($375) than the alternative.

I don't mind paying the right amount for the correct repair - the one thing I do mind is not diagnosing the right problem and/or wasting time with costly repairs. And Yarnell takes very good care not to do any of that. They diagnose the right problem (even very difficult ones) and fix it right the first time.

The only thing to watch out for is they focus only on Japanese cars and don't service American cars (I'm not sure about Kia/Hyundai). So this is actually a major deciding factor for my next car - it'll likely have to be Japanese so I can keep using Yarnell.

Oh lastly - they don't open on Mondays - to take care of their employees so they can work 4-day weeks. Kinda amazing - but being how efficient they are, it makes sense too.

Most reliable service, very knowledgeable and prompt and honest opinion. We had a major issue with engine oil on Prius n Authorized service centres had no appointments and costing a bomb, Yarnell inspite of being very busy took up immediately and fixed at a very nominal charge of $97 only. I would highly recommend this service centre.

We can’t say enough nice things about Yarnell’s! We were a week away from moving out of state when our alternator went out. The dealership wanted to charge us almost 3 times as much as we were quoted by a couple trusted mechanics we talked to. Our usual shop couldn’t fit us in until after our move date, but Yarnell’s went above and beyond and got us all fixed up with just days to spare. We were SO THANKFUL and amazed by their kindness and expertise. We made it safely to our new home 1000 miles away, but I’d gladly drive that distance to have them service our vehicle again. Great mechanics AND great people!

Such a gem: theyre knowledgeable, honest and take such good care of their customers. I told them I was moving in 3 days and wanted them to lay eyes on my old camry to make sure she'd make the trip, and they were sweet enough to squeeze me in. I have been dealing with Ed for a while, and he is the best! His crew is incredibly knowledgeable and he provides competitive pricing! I take both my Lexus, and my Supra to him for all my mechanical and services needs. Recently I brought both vehicles to get the break lines flushed. He is the Toyota repair shop I use for all of my Cars.

It’s hard to find an honest repair shop that values customers, and The Yarnell family make you feel valued and like you are a part of the family.

A colleague of mine suggested Yarnells. I have always serviced my car at the dealer. (Or in cases like wiper inserts and air filters, myself. )

I went in this morning, and they got the car serviced in no time, took a look at a couple of additional items I asked for, and most importantly, did not try to upsell me on anything that was not required. The charges were fair. I feel confident going back here for the rest of the life of my car.

We have been relying on them to maintain an aging Lexus and an aging Toyota for many years. They have prompt, friendly, and have charged reasonable rates.

Being a woman it’s hard to find mechanics who will treat you fairly. With 5 brothers and owner of 5 limousines I know my way around cars and mechanics. Yes, I can tell if your full of it. These guys are the BEST!!! I cannot recommend them high enough. About 2 years ago before I found these guys I went to a place to check out a rubbing sound when I turned sharp corners. They said I need a whole new front end and back shocks. 2500.00!!! Took it to Yarnel and they said the backup plate was lose, tightened a screw and front was fixed. My back shocks were fine. This was for a Toyota 2014 that had less then 100,000 miles on it. I will never go anywhere else!! These guys are the best!!!

This shop was recommended by a close friend after my mechanic retired this year. They run this very smoothly from the time you bring your car to the time you pick it up. The prices are fair and they won't overcharge you or upsale like other shops. Glad I was recommended this place and kudos for Mike for being straight forward on the diagnosis of my Lexus IS 250. They have some pets (dogs) at the shop so please drive in slowly when coming in.

I was recommended to Yarnell by a coworker. Being new to the area I was nervous about taking it to a new place. I have been here twice, and would highly recommend coming here. Honest, quick and friendly service where you don't feel taken advantage of.

The service is wonderful. The staff are all friendly and helpful. This is a place where you can trust that your vehicle will be taken care of by great people for a reasonable price. You can trust you won't be upcharged or screwed over here.

They did an oil change just as promised while I waited. Also had 25K service there, just as thorough.

Originally I went to Yarnells over 20 years ago. I had great experiences back then. I have had great experiences today. They have done the following for me over the years:
Front and rear differential replacement and rebuild
Brakes(complete)
Electronic Ignition Installation
CV Boots installed
Drop away sway bar installation
Rear overload springs installation
And other various maintenance repairs, and more.
So what I'm saying is:
This shop is qualified, thorough, and honest.
4x4 Gurus.

Friendly staff, honest work, efficient if you need to wait or drop off and come back. My go to for car service, they have very well behaved dogs that roam the shop. Area to sit with couch inside or sit on the picnic bench outside, it's a little wet in the morning from dew but otherwise works great!
