Vaso Azzurro Restaurant

Very nice and cute restaurant on Mountain View Main Street. The atmosphere is nice and very recommended for a date or small family gatherings.
The staff is warm and welcoming. Indoor and outdoor seating are both nice.
The food is very good and authentic. The salad is well seasoning with dressings and the pasta is cooked perfectly. The chicken Parmesan is tender and delicious.
It was a perfect date night.

Though I missed Xhan but I had a great time dining at the bar, the bartender Alejandro allowed me to shake my own drink. Was super fun watching him making all the yummy cocktails. Drinks and food are good. Great place!

My husband and I have been there four times already, and it's become our go-to spot. The food reminds us of our trip to Rome last year—authentic and delicious. Their pizzas are just so spot on.

But what really sets them apart is the service. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The owners making their rounds are so hospitable and amiable. They're always ready with recommendations and make sure we're well taken care of. Lots and lots of vegetarian options as well. Highly recommend! 😊

P.S. their Tiramisu is to die for! I wish I could just have their Tiramisu for dinner every night! 💙

Vaso Azzurro Restaurant holds a special place in our hearts as our beloved Italian dining spot conveniently located in downtown Mountain View. When it comes to appetizers, we can't resist their Calamari Fritti and Carpaccio di Manzo (raw beef). For main courses, our top choices are the Linguini Azzurro and the Fresh Catch of the Day. And when it's time for dessert, the Chocolate Lava Cake and Tiramisù never disappoint. The restaurant offers complimentary bread, served fresh with garlic and olive oil.

Vaso Azzurro is a versatile venue suitable for various occasions, be it an indoor work event, birthday celebration, or a cozy family gathering. The ambiance reaches new heights when the staff serenades you with beautiful songs. Personally, I prefer the outdoor seating option, as it provides a delightful fusion of nature, gourmet cuisine, and the lively downtown atmosphere, especially on weekends.

Btw, let me say that google maps doesn’t disappoint… I’m glad reviewers like us keep it real and that it is not an option for business to buy their ratings up… unlike Y**P which I’ve DUMPED for that reason…

Great hospitality and delicious food. I really appreciated that even though we weren't high-rollers running up a huge bill, the executive chef and staff were warm and friendly and made us feel welcome and never rushed. They created an atmosphere where our friend group could have a great time. Our party had the mushroom ravioli, lobster ravioli, chicken piccata, and short rib ragu and we all left our plates clean. This place deserves my repeat business and I will be back.

Great Italian restaurant in the Mountain View area! We were greeted by the manager, who is a very friendly person. He was happy to give us some history about the restaurant and an overview of the each menu item. We started off with the freshly baked bread with a garlic oil. The bread came out warn and soft and the garlic oil tasted great. Then we had the Aubergines alla Modenese appetizer. Normally I wouldn't get it because there is no meat in it, but the eggplant and the savory sauce it was in made me not care that it was all vegetables. For dinner we had the Fettuccine alla Diavola - my youngest son loved it and could imagine it tasted similar to the appetizer I mentioned; my wife and oldest son had the Carne Lasagne - I tasted it and it was delicious, it had an earthy taste from the mushrooms, but we enjoyed how it blended in with the total experience; I had the Capesante di Venezia which was very flavorful, the risotto was cooked perfectly and the sauce that the tender prawns and scallops were in tasted great with the risotto. For dessert I had the Tiramisù - I enjoyed this as it wasn't too filling at all. Overall it was a great experience and we will probably revisit to taste other menu items.

Still one of my top 5 places to go in Mountain View. I personally ordered their special if the day which was salmon with risotto and capers. It was delicious. The rest of my family had the lasagna, spaghetti carbonara, prawns with polenta. All of these were delicious and have uploaded photos.

All the foods were amazing. Feel like very authentic Italian food. Hard to reproduce this taste at home. Worth to go.
At dinner time( maybe only weekend?) they also gave us the singing performance by an Italian gentleman.

We were looking for an Italian restaurant for dinner. The food was delicious paired with wine. We also got tiramisu for dessert. The staff is friendly and there was love music and serenading haha. What a nice surprise! Will definitely come back again

Great experience. Food tasted fantastic. The owner comes around and has conversations with customers making the atmosphere very cozy. If you are lucky, you may even see him singing for entertainment. Overall a great experience.

Loved the food. I had seen people talking about breadsticks in the review. I was very excited to try them and they did not disappoint. For desert I got the heavenly tiramisu and no words can do justice to that deliciousness. Drinks were great and there was live music. 💯 recommended!!!!!

The food is fresh and delicious. We were seated out and the owner is a nice elderly person who entertains the customers every now and then with old karaokes.. 🤩

A wonderful restaurant especially on New Year's Eve.

We were looking for a restaurant with charmiy atmosphere, a lively crowd and great food. We weren't disappointed.

We shared the calamari and penne calabrese. A perfect choice for sharing. The calabrese is spicy and rich. Perfect for a winter meal.

We had the apple strudel for dessert with a great Americano. Perfect topper to dinner.

We chatted with the owners after dinner. A great and warm family. One of them sang to the diners which made the evening more magical.

I love it. I have visited This place many times and I never forget to order Apple Strudel. Must try dessert. I like the service, food and the atmosphere they create. They are very humble. I personally like the person who sings. He is amazing. Allan is also lovely person.

A lovely place for team-building. They gladly accommodated 15 of us and were super hospitable. The menu is authentic north italian and they served us delish italian wines with our meal. Everybody loved their steak. All of us loved the dessert options as well - the apple strudel is something you will have to go experience here - probably the best I've had. Highly recommend - A+++

Suggestion - I wish they had more enticing options for vegetarians. Right now, it's couple of simple pasta and 1-2x gnocchi :(

The first thing we said about this place was "wow this is real Italian". It was delicious! Great food, fantastic staff, even better dessert.
We even had one of the owners sing live. It was delightful team outing.

Would definitely recommend it for nice casual dinner. Nothing super fancy but for the price range it’s perfect.

Happen to choose this place for our anniversary dinner just by chance. Good ambience, good food, and friendly staff. Have had slightly better food but you can sometimes discount it a bit if the overall experience is great. We definitely plan to go there again sometime soon to try other items on their menu.
