So I haven’t gotten a key here yet (I’ll come back to update probably next week.) but I stopped in about my car not being able to detect the remote key even after a new battery and after talking to Jake about the other issues I was having with the keys he recommended visiting my mechanic first to make sure it’s the key and not the car. I really appreciate someone willing to problem solve and not just try to sell me a new key if it’s not the thing I need replaced. Also, sounds like the turn around for getting it replaced will be quick and a reasonable price but like I said I’ll have to update when I actually get a key. 😂 Either way just wanted to share my good experience here and will be back as needed.

This place was fantastic. I needed a new key fob for my truck. Watsonville Chevrolet was going to charge me close to $400 for a a new key fob and to program it.. 300 plus dollars. Ridiculous so I searched around and this place had what I needed and they were able to provide me with a new key fob which included programming for about $140.00 they could have even ordered original manufactured key fob and programmed it for $250 so depending on the model of your vehicle check with them see if they're able to do it and the price they'll be able to give you. Very helpful with my search or a replacement for a broken spring which drives the latch on my screen door. He dug through many drawers to find a suitable replacement and gave it to me for free asking only that I mention his business and generosity here. I am most appreciative. And the screen door latch now works great. Thank you.

I took the keypad lock set for my front door to get new keys made for it since I lost the only one. Unfortunately, I left the bolt engaged thinking I could just push the spindle back in and open the door. I soon found out that wouldn't work so I called Xavier at Kenville who had just made the keys for me.Boy, what a help! He set up a bolt like mine on a vice and sent me pictures of what to do to retract the bolt. Thankfully, it worked and I was back in the house!

Rolf was a consummate professional with a very friendly and helpful demeanor. I was in a jam and needed a key made for my son’s car on a very quick turnaround. I took in the tumbler for a 1978 Volvo 240 and he had a key made within 2 hours. Worked perfectly in both the door and ignition. Highly recommend Kenville Locksmith!

Answered all my questions and definitely will be back. Parking in back was very tight, not made for trucks. But u can do it.

My dog had managed to lock herself in the bathroom. I called Kenville to have them come out to open the locked door with their locksmith magic. Instead, they walked me through (over the phone) how to pick the lock myself with a small screw driver. They did it for free, and my panicked dog was out in a flash without having to wait for them. Very cool. Thank you guys!

I came in with some complicated french door locks that needed to be rekeyed. Jake was incredibly kind, patient and reasonable. I'll definitely be coming back here.

I came in today after 3 other places that copy keys with a key they didn't carry. He didn't carry the key type either, but he did make my key by crafting it from another. Got it home & it works perfectly! Highly recommend this place!

These guys are the BEST in so many ways! They made getting locks changed easy and I totally trust their craftsmanship, they have fair pricing and were incredibly quick at the same time and have parking in the back !

We've gone to these folks for decades; they make keys that *work*, period. They've had the blank for weird/off-brand keys, plus every brand known and unknown. We've never had anything but good experiences w Kenville.
