Cabrillo College

I have earned several degrees from Cabrillo College over the last 25 years, and I loved almost every class I attended there. The staff, teachers, and students are amazing overall. I also worked there for a number of years. I attended other universities and got my bachelors, but Cabrillo was my favorite college by far. The campus is beautiful and tranquil. Cabrillo College helped me get through the CZU fire, and other disasters and tragedies in my life. They have always been there for me. I am a Seahawk for life!

An incredible school. I can only vouch for their STEM department, which is incredible. Infect, people from other colleges often dual enrol with Cabrillo just to do their STEM courses there. There's plenty of resource on-campus to help you as a student succeed. The college has just about every course you'd need to be able to successfully transfer to wherever you want, with high quality education to boot. The school has a great reputation all across California.

I went here for three years. Cabrillo’s classes and great professors helped me prepare to transfer to a UC, and for that I’m very grateful! I didn’t have much contact with the counseling department and found my own research for transferring to be far more helpful. The ASC (accessibility support center) was very helpful for my accommodation needs. Reasonable tuition prices. It is a campus where everyone pretty much does their own thing, but I liked it here.

Cabrillo College is an amazing campus. People here are very helpful and the campus is very diverse.

Cabrillo has a beautiful and easily accessible campus with good biking, driving and bus options right at the welcome center steps.
I’ve been taking classes here for various programs for 3 years now. Every staff member I have interacted with has been helpful, kind and knowledgeable!
There are so many wonderful classes and great professors!
Cabrillo is so much cheaper than a big university and offers excellent transfer opportunities!
I definitely recommend looking at rate my professor when choosing classes as not every professor is incredible, however, I have never met a bad one.

This is where I did the bulk of my art training. The school is affordable. The teachers are very committed. The Gallery is lovely and has wonderful exhibits that are not only showing student work. I am so grateful for Cabrillo College!

I've attended two universities and this junior college. This junior college was the best college I ever attended. Just as satisfying and challenging as any state college. This is my second home, the reason for me finding work, and has supported me in every way imaginable.

Best junior college in the state. Beautiful campus minutes away from the beach. Cheap tuition, lots of new buildings, fantastic sports teams and the perfect year round weather

Cabrillo is truly a Community College. Offering classes in almost every genre and field of study, it is a great community resource. The only issue I've seen come up in recent years is funding, from the perspective of the College being forced to cut programs and full-time staff and instructors due to a lack of, as well as that of the home owner looking at the prospects of a higher tax bill due to any number of measures or propositions on the ballot.

When it comes down to it, Cabrillo really is worth the money. Money, at times, comes down from the state level at a trickle. In order to maintain a world class campus with an excellent array of "STEAM" classes and instructors, a local source of income for the College is a necessity.

Cabrillo exerts such a high standard of College education for Santa Cruz, Northern Monterey and San Benito Counties. It is an excellent step in a goal towards a College education, whether the pursuit is for an Associate's Degree or as a step hold for a Bachelor's Degree at a four year institution. Community Education is a must! Cabrillo is a go-to for one off classes and continuing education. It is an institution that is well worth supporting.

Cabrillo college is one of the premier community colleges in the state, if not the country. The facilities are mostly new and renovated, and beautiful to say the least. If you have classrooms in the upper part of campus you have a beautiful panoramic view of the ocean, but this is not what the review should be based on.

In my experience at cabrillo college, the teachers are wonderful. Many of them are off duty ucsc or San Jose State professors getting work on the side.
This college has many top notch programs including fire tech and nursing. Mr schwinge the fire tech professor was my favorite of all. Great program!

Cabrillo College Dental school is the best place! To get my x-rays and cleaning is only 27$ and they are so thorough , and then a teacher checks it, so you know you're getting perfect work done..and ya cannot beat that price!!

The school is alternating between almost completely shut down except for Zoom, welding and PE classe, and mostly operating as usual depending on the COVID numbers. When it is shut down, there is little or no parking enforcement and few cars to be enforced. Cabrillo is starting to recover from COVID but it is taking some time
