Staff is friendly. I stop by every now and then for lunch. I arrived just as they were taking away breakfast and bringing in lunch. It was good food. Only spent $4.26 for a salad, a couple of swedish meatballs, some stuffing, sweet potato and chicken. Hot food bar has many options, and they charge you by weight.

Beautiful store, great staff & great produce & products. Awesome Hot Bar & Salad Bar! Pastas, had a great dinner by the beach after shopping. Definitely a sweet location ❣ Love Aptos ☺

Newly opened, spacious and clean; high end health/organic grocery store, with a focus on local farms/goods.

The newest new leaf is the best so far, with the largest sq footage and largest selection.
New construction with spacious aisles carefully stocked and cleaned.

Overwhelmed! If you prefer Costco’s food-good for you, go to Costco. More New Leaf for us! I’ll make the pilgrimage to Aptos/Capitola from Carmel every two weeks to enjoy the area and stock up at New Leaf. Nothing comparable near us!

Great store. A little pricey, but they have great deli food. The key lime pie is a MUST have.

This review is a rave about the west side Santa Cruz. It is by far the best New Leaf in town. Because there's a huge turnover, you will always find some very fresh vegetables, eat and fish. Unfortunately, the 41st Ave. and Aptos stores often have old, dried up produce. It's not their fault, it's about the number of people who frequent those stores.

Go see Rosie in the meat department. She's the best! And grab a sandwich from the deli. Yum!

They have good bulk food.... Although chocolate covered peanuts would be a welcome addition for me. Not cluster but just peanut and chocolate...
Anyway lot's of unique healthy organic food. Unique ice cream selection.
And my favorite, great selection of IPA brews. 🍺👍

Kind staff and good selection of high end product, which was a surprise given the small size of the store. Great little cheese counter, build your own hot lunch bar, olive bar, and the deli counter includes sandwiches made to order and pizza by the slice. Also I was pleased with the selection of cold drinks for a quick grab and go. Its the type of place that I could visit for lunch once a week and never tire of the many options.

I love coming to this New Leaf. The women cashiers in the morning are such real people who have genuine happiness and shares it with their customers.
The house-made ready cooks in the back are so helpful and awesome, I look forward to saying hello to them.
If I have a hard time finding something, the employees through the store are ready and driven to find what I need.
I'm honestly so stoked to come in here that it makes me keep coming back.

Great market for covering fresh fruit, vegetables, dairy, meats and treats. Decent hot bar and wine selection.

Staff members are usually helpful and efficient. Having witnessed today (1/17 at midday) an anti-mask lunatic verbally assault a staff member, extra kudos to your staff for maintaining calm and professionalism.

This place has a nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and wide variety of fresh and unique foods. Came here for dinner ingredients while visiting from out of town and found it comparable to whole foods.

Really like this new market. Good selection of food. The deli had great choices. Prices aren't as bad as you might expect - sandwiches are reasonable and the salads are very good. The new public square out front is friendly and inviting, there are tables outside and inside, and I think it's great that they preserved the old Hihn Apple Barn.

My first time in the new store in Watsonville. It was a great experience. I thoroughly enjoyed looking around. It reminded me so much of Harvest Market in Ft. Bragg. Which I love. Employees very nice and helpful. I even got 10% off for being my senior self! LoL
I'm making a gray granola recipe and they had everything in bulk. I will go here in future instead of going into Santa Cruz. They even had Barilla jumbo shells for stuffing which I haven't been able to find, literally, anywhere!

Our family is so grateful to have this local community market in our neighborhood. To have access to local and organic groceries is a godsend. Since it's on our way home, it's become an extension of our own "pantry" or "refrigerator" since we just stop on by and get what we need, and there's no waste! And they are awesome about receiving feedback and requests. We have requested particular products and every time they either get it in stock or provide an equally awesome product equivalent.
