CineLux Capitola Cafe & Lounge

Great place to watch a movie. Been coming here since before it changed names. It is clean and spacious. The seats in the very back rows gave the most space between the rows in front of them. The seats do not recline but are comfy. Restrooms are clean, They have a self serve soda station. You can also add extra butter to your popcorn if needed.

I love going to movies and this is my local theatre. its great every time, the biggest theatre room they have is actually pretty big, and every room is clean and comfortable. the food and snacks are good and overall I can't say a single bad thing about it.

Great little location! Super friendly staff, charming decor, comfy seats, and easy parking. Definitely recommend.

This theater is awesome to go to. Since renovation a few years ago, they have updated the place nicely. They now serve beer and cocktails. We purchased the Moscow mule for $9 each. The mules were pretty tasty. Two mules and a large bag of popcorn turned out to be $27, which wasn't too bad of a cost.

Go on $5 Tuesday and get a great deal. Comfortable seats, good sound and film projection.

The only terrible things are some visitors who make a mess or use annoying laser pointers until they are thrown out.

My granddaughter and I love going to the movies here. Very safe and cozy.

My friend and I went to watch Babylon last week and there was a group of disruptive people that sat in the backrow. The manager Brandon came in and removed them from the theater before it became an issue. We didn't even have to alert the staff of the disruptive group and are happy they caught this before we had to bring it to their attention. Brandon did an excellent job ensuring the theatrical experience was pleasant. They removed the people that kept on talking nonstop and being loud.

The seats were clean and fairly comfortable.

Way better than Green Valley Cinema! If from Watsonville, it VERY much worth the extra gas! Seats are a lot more comfortable, more variety at the snack bar more importantly they always have fresh and better tasting popcorn, you also don’t have to pay for refills plus it doesn’t matter what size your drink was you can just refill it do it yourself, and the variety is endless in drinks!

Amazing luxury movie theatre! Leather seats that are wide and partially reclined. 2 cup holders for each seat and snack tables between every couple seats. Large arm rests for each seat so you don't have to share the arm rest. Assisted listening devices that had No static, which was a nice treat. best of all, there was assigned seats. You get to choose your seat when you purchase the ticket. They show you a seating chart at the box office and you can see which seats are available and pick your seat. Everything was very clean. Even a lounge for drinks in the lobby. No matter where you see a movie the ticket price is expensive, so this was like getting more for your money. Would definitely go back to the CineLux cinema at Capitola again, and highly recommend. The staff were very friendly too.

We go to the movies a lot, and this theater is great. It's centrally located in the County. The parking is easy. The cafe and lounge are cheery and enticing. Somehow, I manage to mostly abstain, but it's always a bit of a challenge. The young kids that work there are well trained, pleasant and fun. The seats, audio and video are fine and the bathrooms are clean. It's a fine theater in Capitola. Wish they'd open one in Aptos!

I can't say I have any complaints, so I suppose the theater gets 5 stars!
Plenty of individual theaters and a wide variety of shows playing, decent selection of food (for a movie theater, that is. Personally, I'd recommend buying something from one of the neighboring stores if you're looking for a snack while watching your movie), clean restrooms, and a good amount of outside sidewalk space (I've been to others where the lines for the theater crowd pedestrians into the road, but that problem isn't present here.)
And, of course, the seats are fantastic... they recline and have an optional footrest for optimal comfort. Enjoy your movie!

This theater is really fun. It has small theaters, large theaters, all size theaters. It has a wonderful Cafe, or you can even have a beer if you desire. Today I saw Toy Story 4! Me and my date laughed harder than the children in the audience. They have great matinee prices here, only $8.50 for adults! The seats are very padded and comfortable. and some of the arm rests between the seats even go up so you can snuggle with your date!!

Very clean with friendly staff. Not crowded at all, though results may vary. Like all movie theaters the price of food was a little high but if you go on Tuesdays the price of tickets is much cheaper!

The theatre was small, but offered a great viewing position. Seats were positioned right in the middle height of the screen. New leather chairs were comfortable too. The lobby was recently remodeled and felt clean and modern. Great experience

Newly remodeled and clean! Seats don't have a foot rest but they are comfortable and have a little bit steeper slope so you can see over someone tall if you need to. Free parking close. Staff was is friendly. My favorite theater
