It was busy when we arrived, but our food was delivered quickly. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The garden scramble with pesto and potatoes were delicious. There is seating outside and inside. Would highly recommend.

Yummy! This little cozy spot has been in the Deer Park shopping center off the Rio del Mar exit in Aptos for as long as I can remember, they have been in business since 1988 and holding strong.

They are a cute little cozy breakfast and lunch spot. They are only open until 3pm. They have extra seating outside if you prefer to eat outdoors.

Everything I’ve ever tried has been pretty delicious. Today I had a build your own omelette with cheese and green onions, it came with potatoes and toast, and I ordered a side of crispy bacon and a hot chocolate.

Next time you’re in Aptos you’ll have to check them out. Either breakfast or lunch, you won’t be disappointed.

I recently dined at the Red Apple Cafe in Aptos, CA with my wife. I ordered the French Toast, while my wife opted for the Pancakes. We were absolutely delighted with our experience at this charming Mom & Pop shop. The servers were exceptionally kind and attentive, making us feel right at home. The ambiance was not only inviting but also impeccably clean and well maintained, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere. The French Toast was a delightful blend of fluffy and crispy, and the Pancakes were equally scrumptious. We left with full stomachs and smiles on our faces, eager to return to this hidden gem.

This was an amazing filling breakfast!!! The server was great but a little forgetful, no reason to take away a star for that as she was probably stressed from a busy Sunday morning! The prices were very good for the amount of food you got! The coffee was spilling over and made a huge mess on the table but it was delish so worth having to clean up! Cute little off the freeway diner I would recommend to anyone in the area!

Great little spot in Aptos! Steak and eggs were fantastic! Usually busy so plan for that.

The restaurant is in a little shopping center with quite a bit of outdoor seating available. Our server was very quick and attentive and the food came out quickly. We got an omelette with potatoes and french toast and everything tasted great.

The menu is huge so there should be something for everyone.

Top notch ‘mom and pop’ establishment. Awesome value, great eats, and prompt service. 5 min drive from the Santa Cruz KOA/ Manresa Beach. Totally recommend a breakfast feast from here if you’re not in the mood to cooks

A secret in the area. A super discovery. Atmosphere outside is amazing. Waitresses are professional, warm and engaged. Will definitely go back.

Great breakfast place. A wait is normal but not long. Lots of room for kids to run around, great outdoor eating area, we will be back often.

I ate at Red Apple twice this week on vacation. Huge portions, great food. I had a great bloody Mary the other day, and a delicious mocha today. The crab cake Benedict was huge.

This place has the best french toast I have ever tried! Do try the hot apple cider.

Great breakfast place!! Lots of awesome options, generous portions, great vibe and waitstaff. Heard someone at our hotel pool raving about how it’s a local spot… and was so impressed by it. Just delicious and good in every way

Not only was the food delicious, and being able to sit outside was wonderful, but the service was beyond my expectations, great service!

Great breakfast food, had the Ham Pots, no mushrooms, and it was very tasty! The service was top notch and they even brought out water for our well-behaved pups... And a steak that was too rare for another customer! Can you beat that? Extremely considerate staff and very clean! Eating outside with the foggy morning, then the sun broke through the fog... It was simply wonderful!

Enjoyed the Turkey, bacon sandwich and fries. was plenty for my partner and I to share. lovely service too.

I've been here twice and have enjoyed breakfast sitting outside on both occasions. The food is good and the staff very friendly and attentive. I had an omelette the first time and pecan waffles the second. I would have both again.

Red Apple Café in Aptos, California is the cutest little place to have breakfast. They have the best food, the best people that work there and it’s just the cutest little place you must go there.
