I was lucky enough to have a mom as a hairdresser and have had a difficult time finding someone who I feel knows their craft. Melanie is that person. She has a great personality to go along with her top notch skills. Her salon has a friendly yet professional feeling. A hidden gem for sure! I have mixes feelings writing this for fear her schedule will get booked solid if the word gets out but she deserves the kudos. Thank you Melanie!

Melanie's is a tiny shop right on "the main drag" Hiway #116 next to Viva Mexicana (best high-quality Mexican restaurant in Sebastopol with gluten-free and vegan selections). You get great personal attention from Melanie and Mary, as well as precision cuts and care.
