Dr. S. Veltri is the best. She has taken care of my bulldog since he was a puppy. He is nine now, and Dr. Veltri continues to care for him with compassion, kindness, and knowledge. I feel like she hears my concerns and takes the time to discuss my dog’s needs with me. The vet techs are all really nice and I have had only good interactions with all of the staff at Redwood Veterinary Hospital.

The staff is so caring and helpful. We took our puppy in for his first Influenza vaccination and he was a bit excited. The staff gave him squirt cheese and treats to help distract him so the doctor could exam him. Dr. Brian Veltri got down on the floor to pet and play with our Charlie. It was a very positive experience. Thanks to all!

I've been a client of Redwood for more than 30 years, and they are fantastic. From routine visits to life-threatening emergencies, they have always been there for me. The front desk staff is unfailingly friendly and helpful. The vet techs are wonderful with the animals (and with me). The veterinarians are absolutely the best. I've had the most experience recently with Dr. Brian Veltri, but all the other docs there are wonderful. They are knowledgeable, kind, and empathetic. They keep up with the latest in veterinary medicine, and they always explain things thoroughly. At Redwood, I have the utmost confidence that my animals are getting the very best care.

Batman loves Redwood Vet! The staff and doctors are amazing. We have been going for years even though we moved out of the area, and we will continue to go here.

The ladies at Redwood Veterinary Hospital were so kind. They were helpful and when our appointment ran late, due to an emergency with an animal earlier in the day, they were very apologetic. I had my two small children with me and my children were also treated very nicely. They examined and x-rayed our 9-month-old guinea pig Inca, whom we believed might have a broken rear leg, however it turned out to be nothing but a sore leg. They were very careful and patient with her during the exam, the pricing was reasonable, and the facility was very clean. I also appreciate that they had a separate entrance for cats and dogs, which I'm sure I will appreciate even more when we bring our beagle in.

I had to bring my cat in during the Covid-19 pandemic due to an inflamed urinary tract. While the protocols that had to be instituted to limit exposure to the staff sounded complicated when described over the phone, everything flowed smoothly and incredibly quickly. Everyone was so kind and helpful and I knew my cat was in loving hands. I was a new client which added an extra layer of complication, but my cat was seen and treated in about 45 minutes -- it was great!

Fabulous! Dr. Fox was wonderful and helped my Pete immensely. Very thorough, professional and kind. The Front Desk/Office Peeps were great as well. I needed an urgent appointment for Pete and they made sure to accommodate us. We are both grateful.

Amazing practice. My cat has gotten fantastic care through illness ups and downs and I've felt such a commitment to her wellbeing. Dedicated team, great communication between the staff, everyone seems to really care and be invested in the health and experience of the animals. Can't recommend them enough.

Excellent care, concern & professional expertise! I was treated very well from the front office, the vet assistant, and the doctor! Dr. Woodfill called me first thing the following morning with the lab results. I know my sweet dog felt comfortable & relaxed during the exam. Great experience for us!

If you want a vet clinic that cares about your pet and knows a pet is not just an animal but a part of your family, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this clinic. Excellent Vet clinic! Staff is Extremely friendly and care about your pets wellbeing and health. The veterinarians don't push procedures on you. They explain and talk to you about different opinions you have and let you choose what steps you want to take next. My corgi (Derby)was very sick with pancreatitis and E. coli, and Dr. Breeden was wonderful with helping us through it. Now Derby is a health & happy dog again, thanks to her.

My dog, Lily, always had loving, attentive and skilled Dr.s and Techs for routine and emergency medical care at Redwood veterinary hospital in Vallejo. All vets are busy these days so think ahead and schedule your routine visits in advance.
They have an oxygen chamber, and always got her blood platelet results the next day.Treatment was always appropriate and I never felt pressured into extra unnecessary things. It felt good being in a place where they remember me and my sweetie. I love you Redwood Veterinary Hospital !

My experience with this vet has been nothing but positive! The staff has been universally and consistently warm, and I always feel reassured about my pet’s health whenever I interact with them by phone, email, or in-person. They’ve always been super inattentive, thorough, and responsive, and they provide excellent follow-up after appointments, labs, etc. I recommend without reservation!

Redwood Vet is amazing. I have an aging pup and in the last 2-3 years, we have been making constant visits to the vet. Every staff member is patient, accommodating, and truly cares for each animal that comes through their doors. Every time I come to pick up my dog, they tell me how good she was at her visit. I never feel nervous coming to the vet because I know that my dog is in good hands.

Recently, my dog had to have an emergency surgery. We were very lucky to have the Redwood Vet staff recognize the urgency and accommodate us in their schedule even though they had two other surgeries on that day. I will be forever grateful for how each staff member jumped in to help save my dog from a very dire situation. Thank you Redwood Vet for taking good care of us!
